How to Create Papercraft Creation

 Including Files and Introduction Guide.

Papercraft

What is Papercraft?

Papercraft is a fantastic and easy way to build your favourite characters and costumes using specially designed Papercraft Templates.

Is Making Papercraft Creations Easy?

Extremely easy, all you need is the Papercraft Templates, Scissors or exacto knife a Printer and plenty of A4 paper/Card and glue.

Can anyone create Papercraft creations?

Yes, most definitely, my husband sit’s with the kids supervising them for safety. You will be surprised just how much the kids can create and it’s far better than sitting on their consoles all day not being mentally active at all.

What Papercraft Templates are available?

You can build anything seriously, artist’s have designed the Papercraft Templates for you, all you have to do is print them. I would suggest after looking at this page doing a going search for any character you can imagine.

Papercraft Templates Examples

I have added some examples within this post from Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog & Simpson’s to name but a few.
Below are Some Papercraft Templates starting with Pokemons very own Pikachu Here is a link to all of the Pokemon Papercraft Templates, just click on them and download the file.

What to do when have the Papercraft Template?

These should be scaled to fit the page, some can be a little more difficult to scale, but this will depend on your printer and it’s settings, if you need help get in touch.

Once you have printed the template all you have to do is cut it out carefully and join up the number’s, these will be marked and the overlap of each template.

Paper or Card?

If your printer can take card stock, buy it. Your Papercraft creations will last much longer, however paper is easier to actually stick together making creations come together much faster.

I use this site, its where you will find ton’s of literature and guidance, not only that, but you can get your papercraft templates from here too papercraft museum.
Here is another site that is superb and has lots of various creation’s.

I love crafting but unfortunately my son isn’t a big fan. These don’t seem to be too fiddly so I might be able to persuade him to give them a try!

I’m just starting a part papercraft part matchstick ledge caravan. I’m becoming more interested all the time. My first papercraft attempt was of a Peter Griffin template. I wish I knew that you’ve to adjust the printer sizes to get the correct template first.
