Watching family movies over summer holidays never seems to get boring at least for us as a family. We have put together 10 of the best family summer movies that we have watched over the years and really enjoyed.
During summer most parents seem to have a little more time on their hands. I certainly know we do! Generally this is because the kids are on holiday and we have some time off work too through the holidays. Through the daytime we normally do activities as a family and on a night we wind down with a family flick most nights.
When making the decision on which family film to watch we all sit and choose a film from our home collection. Generally, our family summer movies have to consist of action and adventure, exploration or thought proving flicks.
My children love all genres of film titles from the classics to the latest flicks available. Me and my husband liked to watch films that we loved and watched with our families as kids. We are quite lucky because our children also love timeless classics and often choose these family movies over the newer titles.
This list of 10 family summer movies are perfect for everyone in the family for everyone to enjoy.
