BaByliss Big Hair Airstyler

Review

BaByliss Big Hair Airstyler

I have a mad mop of hair, I suffer from uncontrollable, unmanageable, frizzy hair.

No matter what products I have tried in the past or expensive hair cuts and treatments I have had, I have struggled to control these locks!

I have my tool box, which contains a high quality Hairdryer, Straighteners and a Curling wand and now I have a new tool, The Babyliss Big  Hair airstyler and It’s not going anywhere!

Before trying the Babyliss Big Hair airstyler, I must admit I did believe it would be just one of those things you try once, then it becomes another box that you put in the back of your cupboard.

I am very excited to share my new love for the airstyler with you all, It really is like having a professional blow dry in your own home and for free!

Just What does the airstyler do?

The BaByliss New Big Hair airstyler has an iconic rotating brush to add dramatic volume and shine to styles and replicate a salon-perfect blow-dry at home.
The large ceramic barrel adds fullness and body whilst the soft mixture of natural boar and nylon bristles create ultimate smoothness and shine.
The super ionic conditioning leaves hair with a frizz-free, high shine finish.

How to use the airstyler

After you have washed, conditioned and towel dried your hair, section your hair and only use on a small section at a time as you can get your hair in a tangle if you press the wrong button.

They are two speeds and two heat settings. The hotter the setting the faster the brush rotates. Simply take you sectioned piece of hair and place the Airstyler underneath, press the button whilst gently guiding the hair around the brush.

It only took one practice to get used to the buttons, if you press the wrong one the styler brush rotates the opposite way, taking your hair with it and causing it to go knotted. After this happened the once I learnt not to press that button again in a hurry!
It also takes a little longer drying the hair with the Babylis Hair air styler than a standard hairdryer, as you are doing a section at a time which can be time consuming.
Although saying that, the positives completely out way any tiny negatives.
This is the perfect product for someone just like me, who struggles with using both the hair dryer & brush at the same time.

Ta,Dah!

   Top Tips!

1. For added lift, hold the brush close to the roots for a few seconds. Move the brush through the section, start to rotate the brush away from your head by pressing and holding the appropriate button. Move the brush away from the head in an upwards motion.

2. As you do this, resist the rotation of the brush by pulling the brush downwards. This will create tension through the section of hair.

To release the section, press and hold the opposite rotation button to unwind the hair section.

3. To define the layers and give shape to styles. Rotate the brush through the section, as you reach the ends of the hair, resist the rotation and spin the brush through the ends.

4. Always place the protective shield over the brush head to protect bristles.

Sounds like a terrific hairdryer, but I have very fine hair and big hair is well out of my reach.

This looks fab!!! Like you I have a lot of hair! And it can become quite uncontrollable! I hate blow drying my hair and can’t ever do the hairdryer and brush technique! I think this will be on my Wishlist 🙂
