Dice Masters by WizKids is a Collectible Dice Game which started with the Avengers vs X-Men set. Today we will be reviewing the Dungeons and Dragons starter set.
Dungeons and Dragons starter set: Battle For Faerun is a Dice game which two players take the role of warlords, collect and assemble their adventurer dice and battle in head-to-head game play. This product is priced at £14.99.
The Dungeons & Dragons pack contains 10 Action Cards and 3 copies of 8 variants of cards. It also includes 44 Dice with two for each character, 12 action Dice and 16 Sidekick Dice. It also includes the Manual with a miniature mat themed around the deck and a pair of red & blue Dice Bags for either player.
The Dice Master sets are aimed at 14 years plus. It took us a couple of times to read the rules until we fully understood how we were supposed to play, although once we started playing the game it just flowed, even my mum understood how to play and was excited by the Dungeons & Dragons theme as she remembered it from being a child.
We played the Dungeons and Dragons starter set along with the Dice Masters Yugioh Starter set, which I have reviewed separately.

Overall this set includes some great Action Cards such as Polymorph and Resurrection. The card art is amazing throughout and as usual with Dice Masters, stunning dice. All in all, Dungeons & Dragons is a nice set to start with. The basic actions are amazing and there really are not any overpowered cards.
Additional cards and dice to expand your collection can be found in expansion packs. Each Foil Pack contains two cards and two dice that players can add to their Dice Masters Battle for Faerûn collections.
I found it really helpful to download game mats from Wizkids Dice Masters Website. A good tip is to laminate the paper game mat as we did to be able to use them again.
