Home Decor – My dream bathroom

My home decor is currently being updated room by room. My living room and kitchen are nearly complete and I am ready to think about my next home decor project creating a dream bathroom.

Before I purchase my dream bathroom, I really want to work out how I want my bathroom to look, the features I want to include and how much I want to spend! I don’t want it to cost the earth, but I still want fantastic quality.

My husband and son’s want a huge walk in shower, whilst I still want to be able to have a long soak in a bubble bath whilst reading my favourite book once in a while! I have a feeling, as I am strongly outnumbered by men in this house that a walk in shower might win!

I have never seen a bathroom that looks as high-tech and stylish as this. With the modern home decor design and lighting, It absolutely took my breath away. Somehow, I feel this will just have to be a dream as my bathroom in reality is only half the size of this space.

Although, I need not feel disheartened as there are plenty of bathroom suites to fit my dimensions and my price bracket, to provide me with my own little sanctuary. A spa-like environment to pamper and have some me time!

• Looking around showrooms and online for hours searching for the ideal bathroom can be extremely tedious. In the past I have even made decisions I have later regretted this way. Choosing a bathroom suite normally costs less than purchasing each item separately. Even top-end bathroom designers are realising the need of the suite package, and usually offer a discounted price on their full bathroom suites.

Make the most of the space

• Design a floor plan before choosing your bathroom, this way you know exactly what types of bathroom suites will fit in your bathroom. For bathrooms with limited space like mine, opt for wall mounted fittings and mirrors to give the illusion of more space.
