It’s all about Lego Worlds! Yes, our very much loved Lego mini figures can now explore a Minecraft style world online making it possible to customize, create and be just generally Lego fantastic in your very own world!
Choose your Lego bricks and build, build, build with a huge range of landscapes, vehicles and toys which can be constructed in Lego’s new digital world!
Lego Fans like us here at U, me and the kids have been waiting for a release like this for some time. Over the past few years Lego have produced some amazing titles and really cornered the market with niche gameplay and graphics. Seriously who doesn’t love Lego Batman, Lego Pirates the Caribbean and who isn’t waiting for Jurassic Park which is to be released on 12th June 2015?
You can get creative with Lego World which is open for you to construct and explore massive in game landscapes and each and every part of the game can be constructed with fun and colourful digital Lego bricks. In your new Lego world you will be able to create fantastic virtual worlds allowing you as a player to be able to modify each pre-built world, create, construct using your new digital bricks!
You will have a vast array of Lego Minifigures, vehicles and in game creatures which are all taken from some of our favourite Lego sets. I can’t wait to see what other great additions Lego are going to add to their new Lego world…
Where to get your hands on Lego World!
Lego World was launched on PC through the online gaming client Steam on Monday 2nd June 2015, it’s available for £11.99 at this stage and you can get your hands on it here.
Currently, like many new pc games they have to release them in stages, with patches, and fixes following your initial purchase. So, if you have any problems with Lego Worlds not performing correctly then don’t worry because all games generally have some issues in the early days of development and release, Although, I am not saying that there will be many problems…
You will have limited features to start with but as the game develops you will notice that Lego world will become a massive game which you will get lost in for hours on end. Multiplayer mode is not available just yet, but it’s only a matter of time whilst developers tweak the game. Sources say that the game will be in early access mode until at least the end of 2015. I would like to stress that this doesn’t mean we will not have the multiplayer option available prior to this.

Steam have already reported superb feedback from their very limited online sales of the Lego world game. You can see the updated user reviews and a little more about Lego world here. I love reading the reviews people are so excited. I particularly like this comment by one user
My childhood dream has come true! I can’t stop playing it again and again.
I recall Lego Universe and how much my youngest son was a little upset to say the least when it closed down around 3 years ago now. I can’t wait to see what Traveller’s Tales plans are for this Lego title in the future, let’s just hope that it stays around forever.
Lego worlds is going to be aimed at both adults and children, so, this is going to be a complete family friendly game to entertain everyone in your household!
I have already mentioned the current price of £11.99, which is around what you would expect to pay for early access to this type of game. The game may stay at this price or it may go up slightly, but whatever you have to pay long run Lego world is certainly worth downloading and installing on your home pc.
Lego World on other gaming platforms…
At this time there is no information in relation to the Lego World game being adapted or made for the PS4, XBOX ONE or any other platform for that matter. If Lego go down the same or similar route to Minecraft I believe we may have the game release for additional devices soon. I will keep pressing to find out more information on this as it comes.
