Who are Mediflow?

When I was asked if I would like to try out the Mediflow Water based pillow, I accepted knowing very little about the company or the pillow. I have Myalgic Encephalopathy or “ME” as it is better known as, aches and pains are characteristic traits and drifting off to sleep is a nightmare. I am always happy to try out new products even though 8 out of 10 do not improve my quality of life.
Just around the time when the pillow arrived, my husband had been suffering neck pain, I thought maybe he would be a better person to trial the pillow. I then got to thinking about my parents, My mum has had chronic neck pain since I was little, the amount of times I have seen her unable to move her neck and wrapping scarves and wheat bags around her neck and shoulders. The thought that this pillow could change the way my mum sleeps and feels made me decide that she would be the ideal tester.
Now just like in a game of Top Trumps came my dad. He suffers from Sleep Apnea, Worn discs in his back, Torn ligaments in both arms and Fibromyalgia. He sleeps for only a few hours a night and normally can be found at 5am sat upright in a chair as laying in bed is too painful and uncomfortable.
I decided that my Dad would be the ideal candidate to test this pillow, although dubious that anything could help him sleep, well anything short of a miracle that is!

My dad filled the pillow with water as the easy to follow instructions explain, he filled it with a little water and then tested the pillow until he found a comfortable amount of support that was right just for him. He covered the new pillow with a high quality Anti-Allergen pillow protector also from Mediflow. The 100% cotton pillow protector provides all the functions of a standard pillow protector with the added benefit of total protection from mold and mildew. These pillow protectors have a sanitized finish on the natural cotton fabric, providing protection against mold, mildew and bacteria. Time to see if this pillow could make any difference, even a very small improvement would be fantastic, I know too well that lack of sleep or poor quality sleep can affect your life enormously.
My dad used the Mediflow water based pillow that night and I could not wait to hear how he got on the following morning.

Nothing could have prepared me for what he told me next, when I asked “did you sleep well” he answered “Perfectly”.
I was completely gobsmacked and so happy, I could not believe something as simple as a pillow could perform something as big as a miracle.
The pillow supported his neck, spine and shoulders perfectly, normally he can not get comfy on a night due to the pain in his shoulders and back . The pillow positioned his neck in such a position that it actually improved his sleep Apnea and he breathed a little easier throughout the night and did not disturb my Mum.
The following day my dad was in a brighter and happier mood and we believe, no we actually know, that this was all down to one fluffy little pillow by mediflow.
