My hair is less thick than it was around a year ago due to having an underactive thyroid. I have always wanted to try a product or maybe a change in my diet to actually make my hair thicker. I often use extensions which gives the illusion of thicker looking hair, but I would love my hair naturally to have the volume I used to have and to stop any form of hair loss.
Over the next few months I will be reviewing the Nourkrin Woman and I will post regular updates to show you either improvements or not as the case maybe to my own hair!
- On average 8 million women in the UK are experiencing some degree of hair loss for various reasons. It is amazing that a whopping 46% of these women suffer in silence when you can try a hair loss treatment or hair supplement.
- Nourkrin Woman – For hair growth is a safe and drug free supplement, specifically formulated for women to nourish their hair and support normal hair growth. In studies of 3,000 Nourkrin users, after 2 months women noticed a 62.5% improvement in their hair.
When I was asked to try a hair product that nourishes the hair and supports the normal Hair growth cycle, I jumped at the chance. I may look in some of my photos as though I have long luscious hair, but it’s all an illusion. I often use hair extensions and products to combat the thinner hair appearance and from researching this article it seems that there are lot of woman in the UK that probably use the same methods I as do currently.
I am really hoping the Nourkrin woman hair loss treatment will give me some of my confidence back and show me some great results.
My hair loss Story
In the past I had always been lucky enough to have a thick head of hair, although at times rather too thick and unruly. I had always been envious of people with more manageable, sleek and fine hair, that was until I started to notice my thick hair had started to become brittle, thinner, especially on the ends and receding around the front of my hairline.
Everytime I washed my hair I noticed I was losing more hair than normal and the overall condition of my hair was dull, brittle and drab! To make things worse, I had put on 10kg of weight over a period of 6 months without any changes to my diet or lifestyle.
I visited my G.P to discuss what was happening to my hair and my weight as it was definitely affecting my confidence. For a women, to put so much weight on over a short space of time and have their crowning glory look not so glorious anymore was devastating for me.
After a set of blood tests I had the diagnosis of ‘hypothyroidism’ more commonly known as underactive thyroid. Obviously, I was relieved there was a reason behind this weight gain and hair loss and better still the potential that with medication my weight would drop and my hair condition might improve. I was pretty disappointed to learn that this process takes time and that my hair may never return to how it was previously, well not without a helping hand anyway.
