Nourkrin Woman Review – My Journey to thicker hair

My hair is less thick than it was around a year ago due to having an underactive thyroid. I have always wanted to try a product or maybe a change in my diet to actually make my hair thicker. I often use extensions which gives the illusion of thicker looking hair, but I would love my hair naturally to have the volume I used to have and to stop any form of hair loss.

Over the next few months I will be reviewing the Nourkrin Woman and I will post regular updates to show you either improvements or not as the case maybe to my own hair!

My hair loss Story 

In the past I had always been lucky enough to have a thick head of hair,  although at times rather too thick and unruly. I had always been envious of people with more manageable, sleek and fine hair, that was until I started to notice my thick hair had started to become brittle, thinner, especially on the ends and receding around the front of my hairline.

Everytime I washed my hair I noticed I was losing more hair than normal and the overall condition of my hair was dull, brittle and drab! To make things worse, I had put on 10kg of weight over a period of 6 months without any changes to my diet or lifestyle.

I visited my G.P to discuss what was happening to my hair and my weight as it was definitely affecting my confidence. For a women, to put so much weight on over a short space of time and have their crowning glory look not so glorious anymore was devastating for me.

After a set of blood tests I had the diagnosis of ‘hypothyroidism’ more commonly known as underactive thyroid. Obviously, I was relieved there was a reason behind this weight gain and hair loss and better still the potential that with medication my weight would drop and my hair condition might improve. I was pretty disappointed to learn that this process takes time and that my hair may never return to how it was previously, well not without a helping hand anyway.
