Aldi Carino hair Care Review – Budget Style for Barmy Barnetts

July 7, 2015 | 12 Comments

I have tried many of the shampoos and conditioners on the market in the past and whilst I have found some products that slightly tame the mass of frizz on top of my head, nothing until now has transformed it into something that actually represents stylish, sleek looking hair at such great value! I loved the carino hair products so much here is my review of the Aldi Carino Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner and the Carino Mighty Shampoo & Conditioner products from the Aldi hair care range.

The haircare products have an amazing price tag of only £1.99 each for a 300ml bottle, so at first I was not expecting fantastic results! I recall asking myself “How could a product like this compare to bigger brands?”

In the past I have been surprised with the great quality of Aldi products and if you missed it here is my Lacura multi-intensive-serum & skincare range review. So, I actually kind of know what Aldi are capable of producing when creating affordable budget beauty products that work and I have always found them to produce great results so far!

Aldi have released not only the Carino Moisture Shampoo and conditioner, but Carino Mighty Shampoo and Conditioner too. With this in mind It would be rude for a girl not to try the products at such a low price! and see exactly what the buzz is all about. Plus my family could do with a cheaper product with the amount of hair products we have to use on our barmy barnets ha!

Aldi carino hair products Review

Carino Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner!

This Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner with Australian Macadamia Nut oil adds Moisture to thirsty, dry, frizzy and damaged hair.

My mum was the lucky lady to try this shampoo out first. Our kitchen resembled and smelt like a hair salon when I washed, dried and styled my mum’s hair for a night out she was going on. When I applied the shampoo to her extremely coarse, damaged, dry hair, I was shocked at how well the shampoo lathered up. Normally it can take up to 3 applications to get a good lather!

We found the conditioner smells pretty great and had a thick texture that coated each of the hair strands until they felt extremely soft and moisturised, a little bit like an Intensive treatment feels on the hair.

My mum said her hair felt soft and nourished, but the real test is how well will the styling of the hair go afterwards?

Well, I am so shocked to share with you that for £1.99 we have found our favourite Shampoo and conditioning product. In fact it beats any other product we have used in our home as a family.

Here is a picture of my mums hair after washing and conditioning the hair with the Carino Moisture Shampoo and conditioner.

Carino Mighty Shampoo & Conditioner

This Mighty Shampoo and Conditioner with Kangaroo Paw Flower Extract adds life and shine to dull hair. This formulation for everyday use ensures your hair is looking smooth, full of life and most importantly looking and smelling fabulous.

This was a perfect duo for my youngest son who has lots of crazy hair and normally finds it hard to find a shampoo, that gives his hair a good lather. The carino hair products left his hair soft and shiny, whilst still being manageable after washing.

The packaging is very distinctive and is very similar to a certain other brand on the market, so you will spot it easily on the shelves in Aldi. This however is if you can find any of them as they were featured on an Aldi special buy and have quickly flown off the shelves! If you see any whilst shopping, I would definitely recommend you grab the Carino products as once they’re gone, they generally don’t seem to come back all that fast!

I would seriously love to hear if anyone else tried this range of haircare products from Aldi? I would love to hear your thoughts, leave them below and rate the product peeps! Oh, and below is an image of me after washing my hair with the carino hair care products and I am very pleased with the results!

Update 15.07.2015 – I have been informed that the Aldi Carino Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner will be a regular product in Aldi! It’s not a special buy any more, the product will always be ready available in all stores.

I’ve use the Aldi Carino Coconut shampoo and conditioner, both of which were really good, my hair loved them, and they smelt good enough to eat.

your hair looks beautiful, shiny and healthy. 🙂
