Childrens Clothing – How to Style your Kids with Hatley’s Winter Wear

During the cold months, I still like to get out and about for walks to blow off the cobwebs and get a little fresh air. When I have my little Nephew over to stay I love nothing better than wrapping him up in his pushchair and going for long walks. I have to make sure he is warm and most importantly protected against any unexpected rain showers and in Yorkshire, these are extremely frequent.

I found it really difficult to find  good quality childrens clothing that was both waterproof and warm enough to keep him cosy on our long walks. I finally came across a Reversible Puffer Jacket from a company called Hatley are international clothing brand that is a favourite with the stars that prides itself on quality production, social responsibility and environmental awareness, not to mention makes really cute clothing!

Hatley was Founded 30 years ago by John and Alice Oldland in the small town of North Hatley, Quebec and has recently announced the launch of their first UK store in London as well as the launch of their new UK website. Though Hatley products are carried by thousands of retailers in over 30 countries, including Harrods, Selfridges and John Lewis, the new London location marks the company’s first ever stand-alone store in the U.K.

Hatley Reversible Puffer Jacket

I love this stunning Puffer Jacket, It is so lightweight whilst keeping your child snug and warm. It is fantastic at keeping your child dry, even when we got caught out and the heavens opened up on us. The outside of the Jacket was wet whilst my Nephew stayed warm and dry inside.

My Nephew Gabriel loved the design on the Jacket with the very cute polar bears solid all over print on one side of the jacket and a contrasting plain colour on the other side. It’s actually reversible which is a godsend when you have toddlers with messy hands!

Polar Bear Rain Boots

To complement the Puffer Jacket, we found these super cute Polar Bear Rain Boots that will see him right through till spring and are perfect for his favourite activity ‘Jumping in muddy puddles’.

Gabriel loved the pull on handles and became very independent trying to dress himself.

To avoid slipping and accidents they have a fantastic Grippy bottom for  maximum traction.
