5 Thomas Knives by Tesco – Review
Whenever my Mum comes to visit, she always makes a point of telling me I need to buy more teaspoons and always asks where I keep my sharp knives. I always pull out my trusty old knife, so old in fact, I think a paper cut could do more damage than a little cut from this!
I always hear the same complaint, “How am I supposed to cut Meat and vegetables with that?”
I have always wanted a set of knives, more so for when preparing the Sunday Lunch comes around, I end up hacking at the vegetables as my knife, Yes my one knife is truly passed it! For some reason I have just never got around to treating myself to some proper ‘Grown up’ Cooking knives.
When I was offered this beautifully stylish set of Thomas knives, I was really happy and totally impressed. Not only were these five knives, yes, five going to help me chop my vegetables, but they are also suitable for different tasks, whether slicing bread, trimming meat, dicing vegetables, or finely chopping herbs, these bad boys have got it covered!
The quality of these Knives is superb, they’re stainless steel and feel very substantial. They even came with a Sturdy wooden block to hold all the knives safely in, yet within easy reach ready for when I turn into a Domestic Goddess and go all Nigela in the Kitchen!
Now when my Mum comes to visit next, she will no longer have to ask where my one blunt knife is because I will have these amazing Thomas Knives to hand her

My knives wouldn’t cut butter. I urgently need a new set!
Although I am now retired I could never afford a really good set of knives when I was working so would really love to have these in my kitchen.
I want this knife set because my set i have now is old and cheap and will not sharpen very well, they are awful to cut, slice and chop with. I don’t actually think my knives can cut, slice and chop, they kind of scrunch everything.
I love cooking, but the one thing I don’t like is blunt knives, so these would be a welcome addition to my culinary meanderings!!

i have been saying, for what feels like years, that we need some decent knives in the kitchen. this could mean i can stop nagging about it.
Well I’m having my kitchen done in the next 6 weeks or so and have been saving up for new kitchen bits and bobs – slowly putting the away for when it’s finally complete. My current knife block has been with me since I was 18 and whilst it has served me well it has seen better days! It’s also bright pink and will clash with my more mature colour scheme!

Mine are so blunt I couldn’t slice through a tomato earlier!
I can never find a sharp Knife and when i do sharpen mine .. it is not as easy as the chefs do it on the telly mine usually seem blunter not sharper!

I bought a large knife many years ago that was supposed to not need sharpening – of course it does need it but is difficult to get sharp – I need to replace all my knives as everyone complains they are blunt however often I sharpen them!
These knifes are amazing. My current knife set is old and really blunt so these would replace these. The wooden block would also fit prefectly in the old space.
