The festive season is upon us and many people just love to watch the Christmas ads at this time of year. Watch all of the best Christmas Adverts 2014 and find out which is our number one christmas tv advert (tissues at the ready) that may make your cry!
I must admit I go a little bit weak at the knees when the larger stores start placing up their festive adverts. This year I think all of the companies have actually managed to have me think a little bit more about the meaning of christmas, but which one has seriously struck a note with not just me but my entire household this year. Last year for me John Lewis stole the show hands down, but it seems there are a few other companies baying for the title of Christmas Advert of the year.
List of Best Christmas Adverts 2014
No 1 – Sainsbury’s Christmas Advert 2014
Although it is not really known how long the World War 1 Christmas truce lasted, Sainsbury’s have really researched thoroughly and brought a festive ad that really pulls on your heart strings. It makes you recall the true meaning of christmas and shows that even though you may be at war with another there’s always time for love amongst the battle. This was made in partnership with the Royal British Legion which was inspired by real events from 100 years ago, you can also purchase the bar of chocolate exchanged at the end. The chocolate bar is £1 and half of the profit goes to the Royal British Legion.
No 2 – John Lewis Christmas Advert 2014
Monty The Penguin – The tale of how a little boy has a penguin that seems to want a partner this year. This advert has amazing music and to be honest it’s another one of those Christmas Ads that really puts a little tear in your eye. You can get Monty the Penguin Merchandise at John Lewis.
No – 3 Tesco Christmas Advert 2014
Tesco’s have gone for a very family looking Christmas Advert this year, I love watching adverts like this because they replicate the big day itself. The excitement in the children’s faces when awaking to see if Santa and his reindeers have been.
No – 4 Marks and Spencers Christmas Advert 2014
The Christmas Fairies are spreading their magic sparkle bringing joy to all. Marks & Spencers seem to always ooze a little class when it comes to their adverts and they haven’t let the side down this year as the fairies fly around giving some amazing looking gifts.
No. 5 – Boot’s Christmas Advert 2014
Boots have produced a simple tear jerker, I was a little shocked at my reaction to this ad. This ad truly reminds you that family means everyone should be there. Nothing beats being together during the festive season.
No. 6 – Debenhams Christmas Advert 2014
Debenhams show children running around the magical looking department store with great big smiles on their faces finding their perfect gift.
No. 7 – Asda Christmas Advert 2014
Asda shows all the special things at Christmas that bring a smile to your face. When you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you!
There is more to come and I will be updating this list accordingly, I love Christmas! The whole feeling of family and togetherness makes me glow with joy. We love watching Christmas Family Movies and coming up with great Christmas Ideas for everyone to enjoy.

I LOVE Christmas for all of these reasons and more 🙂 I particularly love the Sainsburys advert closely followed by John Lewis – they both make me cry (in a good way!). Thank you for linking to PoCoLo 🙂 x
The Sainsburys Ad is the best I’ve ever seen.
I’m a total sucker for anything Christmassy – give me some twinkly lights, some cute animals or kids and a catchy tune and i’m in heaven!
Yes I love the Sainsburys advert,I dont think I have seen many of the others though !(probably spending too much time on pc!}
