20th Century Fox’s comedy of the year Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie reunites Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley as the Iconic Edina and Pasty along with the rest of the original cast including Julia Sawallha as Saffy, Jane Horrocks as Bubble and June Whitfield as Mother.
I grew up watching this Ionic series, loving the hysterical story lines and following the outrageous lives of Pasty and Edina and her long-suffering daughter Saffy.
Now, we can once again enjoy seeing this delightful duo on our screens on DVD and Blu-ray in Absolutely fabulous: The Movie. Definitely, a must have for the Christmas Stockings this year!

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’ begins with a typical Edina and Patsy disaster. The champagne has run out!
Edina and Patsy are still all these years on oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; drinking champagne, clubbing in the trendiest hotspots and shopping in London’s very finest stores.
Edina’s ex-husband has stopped paying alimony and Edina’s money-making plan to publish a memoir of her life as a PR maven is rejected. Then, after getting a tip-off that Kate Moss has sacked her PR, Edina hunts the supermodel down and accidentally knocks her into the Thames during a Fashion show party. Edina is then hated for murdering the supermodel on social media.
The fun and games really begin, expect all the usual ‘Ab Fab’ outrageous antics. I watched the movie with my sister who had never seen an episode of the show before and this movie really appealed to both of us.
Expect fun, laughter and plenty cameos from celebrities we know and love including Abby Clancy, Lulu and Emma Bunton to name but a few.
Grab the girls, some champagne and enjoy an absolutely fabulous night in over Christmas!
