The holiday calendars are up and the UK will be celebrating a lot of festivals and memorials this year, which will feature a lot of programs, activities and concerts that will bring people from all over the world together. If you are planning what to do this Easter or Summer, here are five fun things that you can do alone or with company during holidays in the UK.

Many film studios in England are offering free and paid studio tours in their production sites. The most famous of them is the Warner Bros studio tour that takes you around the set of one of the most well-loved films of all time; Harry Potter. Go to the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio Tour any time of the year and immerse yourself in the magic as you gain an insight into the production and what made Harry Potter such a successful hit.

Visit a National Trust Site

The United Kingdom has been one of the oldest kingdoms in the world and has seen a lot of historical events in the world. These moments in history left a lot of treasures to ponder; he castles, the Roman Empire structures, and even the Stonehenge, one of the most notable prehistorical monuments in the country, have been open to tourists. However, the UK is also home to a number of National Trust sites that are dotted throughout the country; visiting one is the perfect activity to do solo, as a couple or as a family!

Enjoy the great parades in London

The UK has been hosting a lot of parades lately; LGBTQ+ parades, war veteran parades, the famous London Mardi Gras and many more can be observed during the summer and autumn seasons. You can bring your kids and join the merriment as the British people celebrate a lot of festivities, multicultural events and multi-religious ceremonies around the country.

See the Queen in her special days

The Queen’s coronation anniversary, birthday and marriage anniversary with Her Majesty’s consort have been considered a holiday in the UK. This is the best time for you and your family to wait outside the Buckingham Palace to catch a glimpse of the waving and grinning Queen.

The UK is home to a number of beaches along its coastlines. Whether you grab your sunscreens or your sand mats and enjoy a tanning day by the beach, or simply enjoy the sunset and the rush of the winds and waves; Brighton, Cornwall and Bournemouth are the three favorite beach destinations in the UK. Go to Brighton Beach and rub elbows with the beach lovers and watch the sparkling sea or go to Cornwall beaches and enjoy the shoreline with cliffs and seclusions. If you decide to visit Brighton beach and need to stay over, then there are a selection of cheap B&B’s available to pick from. If you fancy visiting Bournemouth, aside from its rich rpesort feel, Bournemouth is also known for its Bournemouth Gardens and jovial nightlife in the urban shorelines.
