After going through some of the old photo folders I stumbled across this MP3 file. This sparked so many memories seriously, but really good memories from when me and my husband very first met one another.
Singer of the Band!
When I first started dating my husband, he was in a Band, He played the guitar and was the lead singer with quite a following!
I thought I would share the song below which his band wrote and played from 13 Years ago. They were good (in my opinion) I enjoyed the music so much I married the singer ha!
They did some amazing song’s but they never really got around to recording them all, which is a shame. The Band won competitions and practiced an awful lot, but for some reason they split up due to personality differences.
The Song Title
This song was called “Let Me In”, it’s rather long because it is unedited.
I still love to have a listen to the track, it’s kind of one of them song’s that you listen to, when you are in a relaxed and somber mood.
The song is a far cry from most of the other songs that they played, believe it or not they actually were more of a rock band.
I really want him to get back into this sort of thing because he enjoyed playing so much.
The band was called “HATCH” and the music was varied and the gigs were lots of fun to attend, we always came out after watching feeling quite pleased we had been. When i say we, that’s me and my friends, one of which also married the base player, oh so groupies.
They still have reviews on the Leeds Music Scene take a look.
My husband used to practice in the very same studio alongside The Kaiser Chiefs & Embrace, which I thought was an interesting fact.
Now feels slightly embarrassed that he used to be in a band, which I think is silly because it’s our life experiences that make us. The only thing is I wish I had some photo’s to share with you but I am unable to find any, my husband has probably hidden them.
So to back up my opinion of the music and his voice I would love to hear some of your comments.

Your husband shouldn’t be shy, or embarrassed about it. He has a very nice voice.

I know! I tell him this all of the time. I think more than anything, it makes him feel a little embarrassed. But I absolutely love his voice, I keep trying to get him to pick up his guitar to play some of the old songs. He hasn’t yet, but I am sure he will soon after I continue to work my magic ha.

There is nothing wrong with the song.. It has a nice feel about it… I can feel a bit of oasis in there somewhere… Sometimes we forget what we used to be good at.. we lock it up and never let it out again.. We should. We need to be who we are and live our lives and if we can have a bit of fun along the way then that just makes life a bit more enjoyable.
HE sounds great.. Has he got any more music?

My husband will be so pleased with this comment. He wrote and sang some great songs, although some pretty deep! He has more music but I think it got lost along the years unfortunatly. I used to watch him at gigs and he used to get the crowd going with some very heavy metal style songs.
