The days of plaiting your pink pony’s hair have returned, as a child, my collection of My Little Ponies were ever-growing and I’m delighted they’ve made a comeback. This toy will be at the top of the list for your little one’s present list. Let me introduce to you the My Little Pony, My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle. So cute!

My Little Pony: My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle is always learning how magical friendship is and will be your child’s favourite companion. The purple pony features wings and a responsive unicorn horn, so not only does it meet the current Instagram trends, but it’s also super majestic! Princess Twilight Sparkle can move her head and hoof as well as say over 90 phrases which improve your child’s cognitive and language skills. All you have to do is touch her horn and she will discuss her magic spells. Located on her hoof is a star button which will tell you secrets about friendships along with stories and songs. Her moveable legs mean that she’s flexible and is able to either sit or stand, providing your child with a real-life experience.
The My little pony’s voice is charming and cheerful (you won’t want to switch it off after 5 seconds compared to other interactive toys!), she says phrases such as ‘You’re my best friend’ and also carries out human-like behaviours such as sneezing and hiccups. When touching her cheek, she moves her head to nuzzle into you, expressing compassion. This little gem has four modes which are the story mode, magic mode, friendship mode and song mode. Twilight’s eyes blink, she tilts her head and her wings flap. For once, us parents won’t get bored with hearing the same phrase over and over again thanks to the range of sentences that Twilight can say which provides over an hour of content. Game changer!
So where does Twilight Sparkle come from? It’s part of the merchandise for the new programme/movie ‘My Little Pony: The Movie’, it seems to be one of the most loved characters and aims to bring your child’s best friend to life! So how big is she? She’s anything but little. At around 1.5 feet tall and long and is quite a hefty weight, this may as well be a little Shetland! The price tag is a massive RRP £130 but let us just remember, she’s basically a real pony!
This is a must-have for your child, It’s not only great fun but also enhancing social and language development. Double bonus!
