Snuggle Seat baby bean bag chair Review

April 18, 2018 | Leave a Comment

The official Snuggle Seat for babies was kind enough to send me out a seat for my gorgeous Sienna, and it’s a godsend! You know the struggle when they’re four months old, and they can’t correctly hold their head up or be left unattended. They don’t understand that cleaning, cooking and washing need to be done and they’re practically glued to your hip! However, this cute little bean bag for babies is brilliant as she’s still able to see me and play and relax in comfort. I’m almost jealous!

What is a Snuggle Seat?

The official Snuggle Seat

The Original Snuggle Seat is a baby bean bag designed for the modern family as it has a sense of style and minimalism which goes in any home. Made for newborns to eight-year-olds, this is a perfect childhood accessory. It comes with two removable covers which merely zip on and off which allow you to adapt the level of beans which are kept securely in the bag. No leaks, promise! The harnessed newborn cover features all new innovations in the baby bean bag market and has a quick release buckle for those emergency actions, whether it’s sick, wee, crying or poop, they have

got this covered! Not only that, but the quick release buckle makes it easy for the baby to be fitted into the Snuggle Seat with just one hand. Trust me, Snuggle Seat genuinely are on a parenting level and understand the not-so-pretty side of parenting.

The newborn cover also features a triple layer foam bumper which means it protects your babies head and keeps them securely nested inside a safety ring. The second cover zips on once the baby can support themselves sitting up and is a reduced bean filling as this enables them to use Snuggle Seat as a lightweight chair.

The top covers on the Snuggle Seat feature a padded zip which means that it cannot scratch the skin and it creates a better look, a perfect refined piece of furniture indeed.

Caring for the snuggle seat

Babies mean that accidents happen and probably more than 20 times a day! However, this product is baby friendly so do not worry. It’s essential you clean the seat regularly to ensure that the materials stay soft and it is hygienic. All you need to do is zip off whichever top cover you are using and remove the inner filling bag which allows it to breathe. Then you can clean the base with a damp cloth and use a gentle upholstery cleaning spray. Allow the sat to air dry in a spacious room and don’t fold.

To wash the top cover, hand soak in lukewarm water with mild washing powder, and it is thoroughly soaked. Don’t scrub, but rub! However, do not tumble dry, iron, bleach or dry clean.

Available in a range of colours to match your home and style, the Snuggle Seat is a great way to keep your child comfy while you can have your hands free or let your six-year-old have some wind-down time! RRP is £79.99 but is currently on offer on seats for just £49.99. The jeans design I tested was £89.99 now £59.99.

You’re certainly going to get your money’s worth.

Disclaimer – I went sent this seat for the purpose of testing this with my baby and giving my honest feedback
