Mine is my Washing Machine
As a busy mum with two growing boys all the appliances in my home get used on a daily basis, there is however one appliance that gets used way above the rest and that’s my beloved washing machine. My trusty friend which is used over and over again and never lets me down. Without my washing machine how hard would life be, well I just could not imagine life without It honestly. Could you imagine having to wash all of your clothes by hand and then having to rinse them yourself, Like they had to do years ago.
Last year I upgraded my washing machine to the Crème de la Crème of all washing machines, I would like you to meet my all singing Limited Edition Giles Deacon LG Washing Machine.
I could not imagine life without my new machine, with its endless list of cycles and special programmes It helps me out with all my washing needs.
My Washing Machine Performance
With its stylish looks and extra-large drum and not to mention the little tune it plays at the end of each cycle, the first time I heard the sound I was walking around looking for where the tune was coming from and I was so surprised when I noticed it was the washing machine that was singing to me, maybe I should have read the instruction manual. Its funny but the when I hear the tune I smile to myself quite regularly, I wonder who thought of this unique feature they should get a large pat on the back.
With uniforms and towels to wash on a daily basis the large 11 kg drum makes getting through the endless amounts of washing a breeze, don’t get me started on washing the bedding this machine has saved me time and my sanity!
Only last week I managed to wash my duvet without having to squeeze every last inch in, It just glided into the drum with ease and it came out of the machine whiter than white, now that is fantastic .

My washing machine was an extravagant purchase for me and something I would hope will last for quite a few years, yet I have made sure from day one that I have done at least one 90 degree wash a week and run a service wash each month with a high quality product. This stops the washing machine emitting out any awful smells, it also makes sure my clothes stay germ and dirt free.
My last machine broke down because It was not as sturdy and reliable as this one, I believe that spending that bit extra on a good quality machine rather than buying a new one every other year is certainly worth it .When I look back at the amount of money I have spent on washing machines that haven’t produced such great results it re-enforces that you should always expect to get what you pay for.
My washing machine is now discontinued and was exclusive to John Lewis, however there are some other amazing and unique machines available at John Lewis.

That washing machine is fab!! So trendy & colourful! Way better then just boring white ones…hehehe
That washing machine is amazing!!!
I love my washing machine. But one thing I REALLY can’t live without is my dishwasher. We moved recently and left the dishwasher at the apartment (we let it out). But no longer have one. It is driving me mad!! If someone said ”these really fancy, designer shoes” or ”dishwasher” it would have to be dishwasher.
Lauren I can totally understand If I was without my washing machine I would Cry, thinking about it I have in the past ha. You need to get a dishwasher pronto put it on your christmas list, I am sure someone will get you one (Your comment really made me smile, someone else who really understands).
Wow! What a stylish washing machine! I’ve never seen one quite like it!
That is a pretty “groovy” machine there! 🙂 Raising 5 kids, I’d say my washing machine was at the very top of my list too, although my dishwasher came into a close second.
I really like your washing machine ,not only does it do a good job it looks very pretty and can sing:)
I could not live without my washing machine but I’d like to say dishwasher!
