Jake is a huge trading card collector and when Skylanders brought out trading cards. I thought he was going to burst a blood vessel with excitement.

Skylanders Trading Cards Binder
The Skylanders Giants starter pack priced at £4.99. These cards come with a special Skylanders collector Binder, guide and 6 cards plus 1 very special Limited Edition card.
The card can not be found in any normal packs, so for a collector this starter set is a must.
The Skylanders Binder is filled with see through pouches with individual sleeves to fit every card in the collection inside.
I can imagine it must look pretty impressive when filled with the brightly coloured & well illustrated cards that are available.
The collector’s guide which comes with the binder opens up into a giant poster showing every card that can be collected from the basic cards to the rare lightcore Skylanders giants characters.
You will definitely know when your child has found one of these rare cards as I did, when I heard Jake shouting & screaming from another other room that he had found one of the best cards in the series.
I watched him carefully place his card in the Binder to display them with pride.
The collector’s guide also has a Skylanders Quiz just for fun to test their Skylanders Knowledge.
The card packs can be purchased from major toy-stores, newsagents and some supermarkets retailing at around £0.75 pence per pack.

The Dog Tags are a new edition to the Skylanders Range these are great to both collect and wear. The skylanders dog tags are a very reasonable priced at £1.50 each.
Unfortunately you do not know which dog tag you will when selecting your packet, so choose wisely! It could cost quite a bit of money if I am honest! Albeit, if you your children have any friends they could swap between themselves to get the set, so all is not lost.
