The Dimplex Glofan Neon fan Heater is one great looking device, but does it provide the heat required to keep you cosy in these cold winter months?

What heat does the Dimplex Glo Fan produce?

I put this to the test in my sons loft, which does get pretty cold during these winter months. He generally complains every year that he needs more warmth, so I decided this would be the best place to try this heater.

The heater has a 2 KW heat output so it should do the job and keep  his well insulated loft bedroom cosy. After 1 Week of trying the Dimplex Glo Fan the results were amazing. I actually found my son managed to stop complaining about how cold it is up there. In my eyes that is shows how much of an improvement the fan heater actually makes to the room.

Why does the fan heater glow?

The glow on the heater is actually coordinated with the different temperature outputs.

Red is for Heat

Blue is for Cool Air

So we know exactly when the heater is on the correct setting visually. Not only that but the neon glow is actually really nice and sits nicely in a modern setting.

Does the heater have settings?

Yes the Dimplex Glo-Fan heater has settings allowing you to change from hot to cold quite easily. The heater also has a LCD display panel which tell you the exact temperature the device is set to.

Who easy is the Dimplex Glo-Fan Neon heater to carry?

The Heater is small and portable and to be honest if I can lift it anyone can. You won’t find yourself struggling to lift it or banging into things because you can literally pick the heater up with one hand.

Will the Heater fit in my room?

The size of the heater allows you to place it pretty much anywhere without it looking ghastly and ruining the look of your home. Small compact and has a lightweight design, what more could you I ask for.

Does the Dimplex Glo-Fan Neon heater have Climate Control?

Yes, this heater has an electronic climate control which, so if it does get too warm you know the heater will cool itself down.

Is the heater low cost to run?

All I know is our heating bill has not gone up even after running the Heater for several hours on a weekend and for 2-3 hours on an evening. I was really worried about the impact this would have had on our electric bill but fan heaters appear to be far better at helping you save these days than they were in the past.

Overall opinion on the Dimplex Glo-Fan Neon Heater

I have asked my son his opinion and he loves this in his room, his friends have also told him the wish they had one in their rooms too. He likes the design of the device and it sits quite nicely next to his gaming pc and believe me they appear to compliment each other.

I have noticed a difference when entering his room too, noticing that the room feels lovely and warm, it makes me not worry so much knowing my son is cosy in his own environment.

We also have had the heater on in the living room whilst watching a family movie, it keeps the room equally as cosy and its a fair size too. I would certainly recommend this Dimplex glo-fan heater to anyone who wants a low-cost and effective heating solution.

The remove dust particles and odours  from around your home, however this is mainly in the room the purifier is situated.

Where do I put the Dimplex Air Purifier

We placed the air purifier next to my youngest son in his bedroom, I have found him coughing quite a lot over the years. This is due to him having Asthma which can be awful if you live in an older built home. I have always made sure his room is dust free but this takes some work and It can gather quite quickly if I am not careful.

What features do you get with the Dimplex Air Purifier?

This Air Purifier has carbon filter technology which helps reduce dust and pollen. The device also removes unwanted odours quite quickly which is a good thing living with 3 boys.

Does the Air Purifier help?

Due to the air in any given room is filtered a home air purifier helps aid breathing for asthma suffers like my son. Not only that but it helps people with hay fever and allergies that can be a real problem in some homes.

This air purifier covers a room up to 28m2 which is approximately 5.3m x 5.3, this does cover a fair size room, and I think that has to be a great thing because it leaves you with room placing options.

Does the air purifier have speed settings?

Yes it the purifier comes with two settings for day and night, It has a slower speed making less noise whilst you sleep. The air purifier has not caused my son to wake up through the night and he is actually quite a light sleeper, It’s great for the family members you don’t want to disturb.

Overall opinion on the Dimplex Air purifier

The purifier gives you that piece of mind and seems to really do a good job of making the air nice and clean. This has helped improve my sons asthma in his room and stopped his nasal cough that he seems to really suffer with. When you have allergies or illness I think the air purifier is a great tool to have in your home to help combat the symptoms and keep the allergies at bay.

The Air Purifier is simply great for space-saving as it is compact and lightweight. It is also portable and freestanding you certainly will not be disappointed with this great product.
