Before I review the new iphone Olloclip. Do you remember your old phones back in the day? The thought of taking pictures was a hard task indeed. Low quality and grainy images were the normality back then! When I look back at how many pictures I have taken without the use of a good camera it really is a shame.
Never the less technology has come on leaps and bounds since the first nokia phones. Taking a picture with the standard mobile phone these days can produce some good results.
I have been using the iPhone since its first release date and to be honest some of the photos I have taken with the device have not been too bad at all.
Even though the Iphone has a perfectly good camera functionality on its own. It’s still not perfect when zooming into an object.
I still find myself moving back and forth in a desperate attempt to find the perfect position. So, using a mobile phone when attempting to capture that fast passing magic moment, can sometimes be difficult!
Iphone Olloclip Review
Now, I am going to introduce you to the iPhone Olloclip. This has been developed for (errrr) the iPhone and fits all brands of the Apple device from the Iphone 4 all the way to the new iphone 6 plus.
The simple yet amazingly effective design allows you to merely slip the stand alone Olloclip over Apple device and begin taking your photos. This only takes a matter of seconds and isn’t too hard a process.

The following images were taken with the new Olloclip. You can clearly see how the different angles really do enhance the picture taken.

The iphone Olloclip allows you to which allows for extreme close-ups, this helps when taking photographs and distances of 12 to 15 mm.
The iPhone Olloclip magnifies the image you are taking approximately 10 times more than the normal iPhone lens. This is perfect for amazing detail, like having a high-end
camera in the palm of your hand. The level of detail you can get with this lens is unbelievable, its amazing what the human eye doesn’t actually see.

The iPhone Olloclip is great at taking shots of the larger moments in life, this lens allows you to take a photograph which is double of the iPhone regular lens.
The time this lens saves again is amazing because you can take photographs of groups of people, or landscapes and
capture the entire essence of what you are seeing yourself. I have tried taking photos on my husbands phone and they are quite dark, however when
using the iPhone Olloclip it lets in more light allowing a far superior picture.

The iPhone Olloclip gives you a hemispherical shape, this is just like a fish eye. The Olloclip allows you to take wide panoramic pictures.
with an approximate 180-Degree view. With this lens the ever keen blogger can take images of landscapes, close up objects, interior decoration and much more.
You will be amazed again at the quality of the iPhone Olloclip’s amazing versatility. I am quite a pessimistic person but this has absolutely surpassed my expectations .

Why is this so good for the blogging community? Well, I have been blogging for a few years now.
I know what it is like to want to capture a moment on a mobile phone. Sometimes taking images requires different angles and close ups. Although the Olloclip doesn’t enhanced the quality of the picture. It does do a good job of getting a better shot.
Which devices and much does the Olloclip cost?
The Olloclip is available for all of the Apple devices from their site. So, you budding mobile phone photographers out there could pick one of these Olloclips and attach them to your device for around £59.99. Which is a little steep but if you take your photography serious and you want a quality product. This is definitely the product you should be purchasing for your Iphone.
What room is there for improvement?
- Can’t have a case on the phone when using the clip. (Unless you get a super slim case.)
- The Olloclip sits quite tightly against your Iphone. I would worry about excessively taking in on and off because I would hate for it to scratch the surface of the phone.
Wow! What a fab product! This would be brilliant for my teacher training for taking photos of notes and ideas for my evidence file! My phone just can’t quite zoom in enough to photograph the children’s writing… Here’s hoping I win!
