Harness Buddy Review – 2 in 1 Safety Reins for your Toddler

November 18, 2012 | 2 Comments

As Parents we often find our little ones get a little bit carried away with themselves generally attempting to walk in front when we are out and about! The dreaded thought of them walking into the road is something that worries me quite often. Keeping them safe and making a journey fun is often hard work. That is where Harness Buddy comes in real handy.

Imagine your child’s favourite teddy bear attached to them keeping your child safe and in your total control. We decided to to test the teddy bear safety harness out with the permission of my friend. His daughter is only 2 years of age and she’s like many other toddlers loves exploring.

I used to take my boys to the local shopping centre and they would find it fun to hide amongst the clothing rails pretty much making my heart almost stop everytime. I gave this teddy bear harness buddy to my friend for him to give to his little girl and put the safety product through its paces.

Harness Buddy Review

These are his thoughts on the harness buddy. He tells us what he likes and dislikes about the product.

Firstly, my daughter loves the product! she hasn’t put it down from the moment  I gave her it. She is into everything at the moment and taking her out can be difficult at times. I feel like I should have eye’s in the back of my head! The harness buddy really does make walking with your toddlers quite fun.

The harness buddy is incredibly soft and cuddly. You would expect this from something that is made for child safety but it really is. My daughter sleeps with the harness buddy and sits it down next to her while she watches TV on a morning.

I was a little apprehensive and thought that my daughter would not entertain the thought of having a harness buddy on her back once she knew that I had control. I was pleasantly surprised if I am honest. I told her I would hold on to the bear’s tale while she acted as a big girl and walk a little in front. The detachable cord (tale) is around 1 and half meters in length so she was close to me at all times.

I held on and we went for a while and let her go when she was in safer environments. She seemed to enjoy the harness buddy on the walk to pick my son up from school.

The harness buddy is not heavy or bulky and since she has had the teddy bear she loves to carry it around and pretend it’s her little baby.

The harness buddy has a small pocket at the back of the teddy bear. It’s a little small and to be honest I am not quite sure what will fit inside. It seems a little small for a bottle or a hat! All in all my daughter now has a new playmate so to speak and she loves using the harness buddy wherever she goes.

I think she like the fact that I am close and she feels like it is her that is pulling me along!

The Harness buddy can be found for around £18.00 online if not cheaper. So, search around. I have provide a link to amazon where you can find plenty of different types of the harness buddy including, Goldbug Koala, Lion, Puppy and so many more right here.
