As a girl, I absolutely adored my dolls. Whether it was taking them for a stroll in the pushchair, feeding them or bathing them. I was glued. Now, however, dolls have gone to the ultimate max. Potty’s, tantrums, realistic milk bottles and nappies, who needs a real baby?! The BABY born Interactive Doll is great for overall learning and development of your child.
BABY born Interactive Doll Review
This 43-cm tall doll comes with 11 fun accessories which include a dummy and storybook. Everything your little one needs to keep their little one fed, relaxed and happy as can be. When opening the packaging, it felt like I was reliving my childhood but ten times better! The doll functions include controlled wetting in the potty (by pressing the belly button), drinking/feeding, crying, opening and closing eyes and moving of the limbs.
The BABY born Interactive Doll accessories include a bib, spoon & plate, bottle, nappy, potty, magic dummy, powdered food and a birth certificate. This doll is specifically good for the development of children as it is able to assist in teaching a child fine motor skills and utilises their imaginations with make-believe play. Toddlers can begin to learn more about how to take care of their dolls which lead to the emotional development of compassion and selflessness.
I noticed when watching my little one, that when it came to potty time, it was helping her understand the process of going to the toilet and learning the self-control that she needs for when she does start ‘big school’ and has to use the ‘big girl toilet’. By showing it through play, she was able to see how the BABY born goes to the toilet and also how to empty the contents afterwards. This is great at learning basic personal hygiene skills and Darbi then wanted to try it out for herself.
I can assure you that this is a close number one of the top toys of 2017 list. Not only that but guess what?! A toy that doesn’t require any batteries?! It must be a miracle. You can thank me later! With the RRP being £49.99, you won’t be disappointed.
