Everyone knows what Benefit Cosmetics is by now, and if not, you’ve been living in a cave. Personally, I’m a massive fan of Benefit as their products really work for me, my ultimate favourite being “They’re Real” mascara. However, it’s all about the Benefit brow now. With 1800 BrowBar beauty lounges in 49 countries, Benefit is the world’s leading brow authority. They just launched their sparkly new eyebrow range this year, with brand new products and gorgeous packaging, so I decided to put them to the test.
Goof Proof Brow Pencil & Browvo! Conditioning Primer
I love a good eyebrow pencil as it’s simple, quick and easy. This pencil comes with a brush at the other end, so it creates more precision to get you the best results. With 95% saying it was easy to fill and shape brows and 94% saying it gives beautiful brows on the first try, I decided to try it out! The pencil has an unusual angled shape to make it easier to fill brows in, I started at the beginning of my brow and used soft strokes to build it up. The results were satisfying and very natural looking. This Goof Proof Brow Pencil & Browvo! Conditioning Primer is perfect for women with scarce or thin brows like me as it’s so easy to build up.
Primer. You either love them or hate them and in this case, I think love wins. Primer for your brows may sound a bit extreme, but if you’re a busy girl then you want to look good all day, right? This conditioning primer works two ways; it conditions to help your hair grow back thicker and healthier and primes, so you can wear under your brow makeup to enhance that colour and extend wear. Another pro tip, wear it overnight so the magic works in your sleep! This product will be heaven to those girls who have fine hair and with the nutrient rich formula being Keratin and soy protein, it’s a life saver. This is a must-have for your makeup bag!
Gimme Brow #BenefitBrow
An award winning brow volumising fibre gel which is available in 3 shades, so you don’t have to have black eyebrows anymore (yay!). Think of this product as a mascara for your brows, with a custom, tiny tapered brush it’s super easy to use. You simply stroke the brush tip along your brow to define the shape and build up. I wore this product all day, and it stayed immaculate, and you don’t get that horrible crispy brow feeling. This looks great on top of the brow pencil, so don’t worry, Benefit has you covered.
Ka-Brow! Benefit Brow
Best till last right? Ka-Brow! is a dream come true to me, I’ve wanted a cream gel brow for a while now, and this is truly beautiful. Not only is the metallic packaging an eye catcher but this product is in 6 shades, so anyone in the world can wear it. I must warn, this is the hardest Benefit brow product to apply but with practice, it is so worth it. You simply pull the brush from the cap and glide across the cream gel, stroking a tiny amount onto brows. A little certainly goes a long way, and you can either go for soft & natural looking or build the drama for those nights out! Waterproof and last 24 hours, I never want to take it off. The brush inside the cap is so ideal and makes it travel-friendly, an almost effortless perfect brow.
Benefit Cosmetics did it right, this time; I’d highly recommend these products to anyone out there. Whether you’re fair, dark, fine or thick, they’re here to rescue your brows. They’re on the pricey side (ranging from £17.50 to £24.50) but is it worth it? Definitely!
