Many of you have probably seen the new vacuum trend which is going cordless. The adverts have seemed to take over TV and they’ve appealed to me a lot, because as you may know, I love cleaning and was intrigued to try the Bissell Powerglide Vacuum Cleaner
When I received the BISSELL Powerglide Cordless Vacuum, I was over the moon and I was surprised that the box wasn’t as bulky as I imagined.
BISSELL Powerglide Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Review
I was a little worried about the whole set up and that it would take me ages to do but I was wrong. To assemble the vacuum it took me all of 2 minutes, with 4 easy steps, anyone can do this, (I didn’t even need to look at the instructions) amazing right? It took me a while to adjust to the fact I had to charge my vacuum because of course this doesn’t usually happen but all you do is place the battery in the charger pack and it’s fully charged in about an hour which is pretty impressive.
Upright to handheld
I have a range of different flooring in my house, from wood to carpet to laminate, I need something that can work on all floor surfaces so it’s quite difficult to meet my high standards. However, when I tested the BISSELL Powerglide It adapted to different floor surfaces incredibly and never lost suction. With having a pet, I like my home to be extra clean and the handheld feature helps remarkably. All I need to do is press a button at the bottom of the vacuum and slide it off; then you’re ready to go with your handheld device. As a result of the vacuum being more lightweight than your average appliance, this vacuum is suitable for physically challenged people as it’s very easy to carry up and downstairs. As a sufferer of Chronic Fatigue, I sometimes struggle with navigating around my home with heavy items, however, on bad days, I feel I’d still be able to manage with this device.
Cordless Cleaning
I used to get fed up of always running around, finding another plug and sometimes the lead hasn’t been long enough by an inch. Frustrating, especially with having 2 teenage boys that tend to make a mess! Well now say bye-bye to those days. I must admit, it did feel fairly strange at first, using an electrical product but not having to plug it in and I did catch myself walking towards a plug once I’d finished vacuuming. Swivel steering means that I can get to all of those hard to reach areas and I can efficiently glide across all floor surfaces. I can easily do my whole home in one go with this little gem and the battery life lasts up to 45 minutes which is revolutionary. The BISSELL Powerglide is fantastic for those emergency spills and with its petite size, it’s easy to store or place in a room subtly, with the colours being quite neutral it isn’t an eyesore.
For £199.99 (was £249.99) the BISSELL Powerglide is a reasonable price. At times, I do get confused as you have to turn the dial if you want to use the hose or the vacuum and if not, one feature won’t have any suction, but it’s all about getting used to a new product.
If any of you out there are clean freaks like me then meet your new best friend, the BISSELL Powerglide!
