Who are Ashton & Parsons

Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders have been used to soothe the symptoms of teething pain for over 100 years. Originally developed during the reign of King George V, the powders soon became popular with mums and dads across the UK. Today Ashton & Parsons is still relied upon by families as a gentle, natural remedy to help babies feel better from the symptoms of teething.

Until very recently there was limited availability of Ashton & Parsons; however the parents favorite is now back on the shelves and available at the following stores:

  •  Co-operative pharmacy
  •  Asda pharmacy
  •  Boots
  •  thehealthcounter.com
  •  and many other high street and online pharmacies.

Ashton & Parsons has been helping to soothe the discomforts of teething for generations. The company’s dedicated experts have picked up plenty of teething tips and are on hand to offer advice to parents at www.ashtonandparsons.co.uk. Ashton & Parsons  also has a blog, which regularly offers advice from a variety of guest bloggers, and helpful interactive communities at its social media channels.

Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders contain Tincture of Matricaria, which is extracted from German Chamomile flower heads. Tincture of Matricaria has been used traditionally to relieve the symptoms of mild stomach upsets, diarrhoea and nervous irritability in children.

I remember my mum telling me that to soothe my sore gums when teething she would put wads of whisky soaked cotton wool against them lol, its a wonder I’m not an alcoholic, but its what mums were told to do then. The one thing that helped my youngest was her Sophie the Giraffe. So many people had said how great they were, but didn’t expect it to be much more than a wee toy, but my youngest absolutely chews it to death, and so far, no teething problems! 🙂

I did find a boots alternative so if anyone is struggling pop in and ask them! But now I know Ashtons are back I will be popping into Boots at the weekend and grabbing a box, you never know when them blummin teeth are going to make an appearence, and with Elsie turning 1 next week, its gotta be soon!!
