Review - Hotpoint RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine

When I was asked to review the Hotpoint RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine it couldn’t have come at a better time as my old machine had definitely seen better days.

As a busy Mum of two boys, my days are never free from at least 2 wash loads of uniforms, bedding and endless amounts of Towels.

I have tested the Hotpoint RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine rigorously over the last few weeks, trying various cycles and at different temperatures to bring you an accurate and honest review of the machine.

The HOTPOINT RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine is an attractive looking washing machine with a whopping 9 kg capacity which is perfect for my large family loads. I have had various Hotpoint washing machines in the past and I have always been impressed with their performance so I was very excited to try a new model with a much larger drum than I was used to.

As I use my washing machine at least 2 times a day, my machines do not always last as long as I would like them to so I was very impressed that the Hotpoint RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine comes with a reassuring 10-year guarantee to save me from worrying about unexpected repair bills.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much whiter my whites were after washing with the Hotpoint RSG964J SMART+ Washing Machine and my husband loved just how quiet this machine is, in fact, it is one of the quietest available at just 54 dB(A), the equivalent of a refrigerator humming.

Direct Injection

The Hotpoint Direct Injection technology helps to target dirt at even the lowest washing temperatures.

Another great feature is the 24-hour delay that lets you choose when you start the cycle which is perfect for when I am busy at after school clubs and doing the family food shop. I also took advantage of starting the washing programs later in the evening to take advantage of cheaper energy prices.
