Teachers are very special people. In my experience they have looked after my children through both the good times and bad times at school each and every year. Giving teachers a gift to say thank you is one of the best ways you can show him or her that not only you, but your child also appreciates their support throughout the school year. It can be difficult finding the right gift, but here are 9 unique teacher gifts to truly say thank you!
Why I believe giving a gift unique is important.
I have always been a big believer in giving unique teacher gifts. They support my children throughout the term and act as guardians when we are not presence. A good teacher does not get paid half as much as they should for the time, effort and support they provide our children with. A simple gesture at the end of the term will make them feel appreciated and well thought of.
Children love to give their teachers gifts. My youngest gave me a list of six teachers he would like to give presents to this year for various reasons. Some of the teachers are leaving school for good and the others his wants to give gifts to have shown him support in different ways throughout the school term.
How we came up with unique Teacher gifts.
We sat down together and came up with a list of unique teacher gifts that we both thought would be appropriate and an extra special present to give this year. My son put a great input into these gift choices as these are what he would love to give his teacher. These teacher gift ideas will suit all budgets and inspire you to find a lovely gift for your child’s teacher this end of term.
Teacher appreciation is not something all parents think about and in no way should feel pressured to buy something. Being an ex-teaching assistant, I do know that the gifts are very much appreciated and often bring a little tear to the teacher’s eye. Parents please Remember it’s not the amount you spend but the thought that is put into it!

No, no matter who or what subject your teacher specialises in. They should benefit from any of the these unique teacher gifts ideas this half term.

Some lovely ideas! I was recently at a pottery painting place and they had a big bowl that the class had painted (the lady working there had taken it into school) and was going to be given to their teacher – I thought that was such a unique idea and when the cost is split between the parents it’s not too expensive either 🙂

That’s a lovely idea and something the teacher can cherish for years and put on pride of place in her classroom.
These are great ideas and as you said VERY UNIQUE! My daughter is now finishing Reception so it is our first year dealing with this although the mums at her class are very organised and have decided to get one good present for the teachers from the class so each parent put a fee and then the mums in charged will buy the presents and thank you cards. They will get a vouchers from Westfield. I thought it was practical this way. 🙂 xx
I got the link to your website from #weekendbloghop
That’s a really great idea to club together and buy one great gift rather than countless bottles of wine ( although, after the last long term, I expect they could definitely use them)
These are fab!! I’d have much preferred these to a bottle of wine or chocolates. Wish lots of parents see this! Thanks for linking up with us on the #bigfatlinky hope to see you there this week
The Superhero Notebook went down really well with my sons teacher. Apparently he was showing it around the staff room and couldn’t believe my son had chosen something that was suited his personality so well. I even wrapped it in brown parcel roll and trimmed it with a batman ribbon sort of thing that was wrapped around some kids pj’s I once bought for Christmas.
