Big Blog Birthday Competition: Day 11

Win a CoPilot app

copilot app

What is the CoPilot?

An intelligent sat nav app, CoPilot is affordable luxury of convenience in one sleek app. A unique product that is great to use while driving, cycling or walking, CoPilot can be your ultimate travel guide, whilst saving on data as the app can be used offline.

A truly useful app which is always to hand, it is perfect for drivers and those who need pointing in the right direction.

With CoPilot, travellers can:

· Save time on their commute as CommuteMeTM intelligently learns your preferred route to work and automatically scans the route for delays.

· Avoid traffic jams with 12 months free ActiveTrafficTM

· Save on their precious data allowance, as the app downloads the maps on to the device to avoid data charges. No need to worry if there is no network signal, as the app works offline

· Fine-tune routes to avoid or go via certain locations through dragging and dropping on-screen

· Never miss a turning again with ClearTurnTM to guide them through complex junctions

· Stay safe on unfamiliar routes as distracting data is hidden from view

· Find their way around on foot or bicycle as easily as by car

· Easily find points of interest along their route

· Avoid distraction as the new motion lock feature sets a speed limit for the screen use

CoPilot have also just been awarded Auto Express “Best Sat Nav App” and “App of the Year” accolades

My partner is a nightmare – I managed to get us within a mile of her sisters after managing the 400 miles – then it was a nightmare – don’t know if this counts, but certainly got me lost. I also had 2 other problems – after driving 300 miles she sent me off on a road going east when I should have been going west (fortunately I realised) – and this was to her parents. And the other time I asked 1st or 2nd turn off to Fife off the M90 – She proceeded to direct me into into a Tesco car park!!!!!
    Never again!!!
If I can do 400 miles with no map and expect the last mile to be easy 🙁

Would have to nominate my mother (sorry mum!) – a ten minute journey often takes upwards of half an hour when you’re in her car.

I have taken a wrong turning on a few occasions and got lost, for a little while before I then find my way to destination. I could do with a Sat Nav. Though I must say I have improved from early days of driving. I was on a bus trip recently in which the driver missed his turn off from motorway. Same driver there and back, as he missed a few turn offs: We began to feel like we were either on a mystery tour or merry go round. Still he got us there and back safely, and that is what really matters.

Without a map I am hopeless at finding my way. If I have to travel somewhere unfamiliar I carefully research the route beforehand because my natural sense of direction is rubbish. A Sat Nav app would really benefit me (and my passengers!).
