As a gamer myself I always request Amazon Vouchers which give me the flexibility to get whatever I need. The challenge for buying for a gamer is that the tech and games change so frequently that by the time you’ve thought of something great to give them they’ve either got it already or are waiting for a sequel/upgrade.

Love these suggestions though, Multi-format Headsets are fantastic and I don’t think any gamer in the world would expect to receive an Oculus VR headset as a present, so definite ‘WOW’ factor there. Great list!
