We love comic book heroes in our house, so are extremely excited for the upcoming Marvel hero movie Captain America: Civil War it has definitely on our list of movies to watch on the release date and for once everyone in our house wants to see this movie!
I was very excited to find out that to celebrate the release of Marvel’s heroic movie Captain America: Civil War, Disney Store is hosting a series of exciting in-store activities for kids starting Sunday 24th April across UK and Ireland.
So, get ready to pick a side and head to your local Disney Store from the 24th April and let the fun begin!
Celebrate MARVEL’S CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR With Disney Store
Whose side are you on? Pick your team at Disney Store with The Marvel Team Challenge, where guests will get the chance to either support Captain America on his quest to remain independent to defend humanity, or Iron Man, who wants to support the government in their mission to protect the people. The fun-filled activity will take place in Disney Stores across the UK and Ireland *, kicking off Sunday 24th April and running every Saturday and Sunday from 3-3:30PM until Saturday 4th June **.
The challenge will also run every day throughout May half-term (28th May – 4th June).
Guests get to pick their teams and are then taken on a quest to complete four team-building tasks in order to win puzzle pieces. There will also be a quiz to test their Avenger knowledge, an Avenger training session where they will learn the Avenger’s signature battle moves, a communication task to pass on a top-secret code, and to finish; teams will need to use the puzzle pieces collected to build their completed puzzle in the fastest time. This fun, free event will focus on team building and proving that working together will always deliver the best results in the fight against evil!
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, which releases in UK cinemas on 29th April, finds the government setting up a governing body to oversee the Avengers. The team splinters into two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Disney Store has a fantastic new range of Captain America: Civil War product based on the main super heroes including Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow which can be purchased in Disney Stores across the UK and Ireland, and online at Disney Store. Disney Store will also roll out further exclusive product lines throughout the spring and summer.
