Daniel Footwear
Providing Bags Of Support For MacMillan
Daniel Footwear has launched its national partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support.
The designer footwear chain, with its head office in Leeds, will be supporting the charity from the sale of a specially designed bag available in all of its 25 stores and online here. They are also encouraging visitors to their website to make a 99p donation via the electronic charity box Pennies, which will then be matched by the company.
Daniel Footwear is an established footwear retailer selling an extensive collection of designer shoes, bags and accessories and this is the first time that they have supported a charity on a nation basis.
Daniel Footwear says “We are so delighted that we are supporting this fantastic charity. So many people are affected by cancer and we know that if it wasn’t for the work of Macmillan, many would have to face the disease completely on their own. By launching this limited edition bag and through donations from our website, we will be doing our bit to help local cancer patients get the support they really need.”
Macmillan Cancer Support says “We are so excited about this partnership. We think the bag they have designed is fantastic and the money that this partnership raises really will make a massive difference. As a charity that is funded almost entirely by donations we couldn’t fund any of our services without the support of companies like Daniel Footwear. We are so grateful for their generosity and the different they are going to make.”
Macmillan Cancer Support recently launched its new Not Alone campaign to highlight the battle that cancer patients face. Research has shown that many people diagnosed with cancer feel isolated and alone and this is where Macmillan steps in to provide expert support and advice.
The team at Daniel Footwear have pledged to support as much as they can for Macmillan over the coming year to support cancer patients and their families when they are facing one of life’s hardest battles.
