After the chaos and excitement of a wedding, comes the honeymoon; the ultimate time to relax with your partner! Planning the perfect honeymoon may be hard as there is so much on offer and an endless list of potential things to see and do. If you are struggling to decide, in-between picking your table decorations and the flower display, then here are a few ideas to help inspire your romantic getaway:
Travel to India together
If we are to describe India in one word, it would be “diverse.” The diversity of Indian culture, literature, food, traditions, and its people’s way of living is what makes India an incredible place for you to go on your honeymoon. When you’re in India, prepare yourself to be fascinated, shocked, confused, and educated, because everywhere you turn in India, you should always “expect the unexpected.” You may find your experiences in India quite perplexing. But it is exactly that perplexing experience that makes India a thrilling place for you to spend your honeymoon, something that is an out-of-the-ordinary honeymoon experience.
These are some of the many beautiful reasons why India is a perfect honeymoon destination:
• It has a wide-range of heritage sites
• It has the largest vegetarian cuisine
• It has a rich history and traditions
• It’s a country of customs and festivals
• It is home to a beautiful coastline
Planning a honeymoon to India may at first appear slightly overwhelming as there is so much to do and so much to see. It therefore may be best to contact a travel company who can help you plan the perfect honeymoon.
Go on a Safari Holiday to Tanzania
If you and your partner are animal lovers and enjoy being at one with nature, then a luxury safari holiday is the perfect honeymoon for you. One of my favourite places to go on safari is Tanzania. When in Tanzania, some of the exciting things you can do include:
• Having a close encounter with the most majestic wildlife animals in Africa
• Climbing mountains and feeling nature’s cool breeze while witnessing the beautiful sunset
• Touring national parks and wildlife conservation areas
• Having campsites inside national parks
• Swimming, snorkelling and diving in its blue crystal waters
Go to an Island in the Maldives
Who wouldn’t want to spend their honeymoon in Maldives? Probably no one, right? The Maldives is famous for its white-sand beaches and blue crystal waters and the fact it offers peace, tranquillity, and luxury. If it is the luxury that you enjoy, you could even charter a private jet with Jettly. Depending on your budget, there are many local islands in the Maldives that offer cheap accommodations, but with the same ecstatic Island experience. However, if you are after a luxury experience, there are also a number of first-class resorts available. Spending your honeymoon in this awe-inspiring place would surely make you want to get married over and over again; It’s such a relaxing place to be with the most important person in your life.
