If I could recommend one place to visit in Leeds this weekend it could only be the Lego store in Leeds which is located inside the Trinity center. The store is located on the second floor of the shopping complex and is filled with the very best of the Lego toys including all of the latest releases.
I visited the store today with my son Jake to take part in the celebrations on the store’s official open day. Jake was very excited when he first received an invitation in the post to attend at the lego store. If you handed in your special invitation the first 200 people received a Lego Chima Speedorz set.
Lego store Leeds fun Activities for kids
In store there was plenty of activities for kids to occupy all ages. The kids could play and test out the new Lego store Chima sets with a selection of toys out to play. The staff who are very friendly and approachable and are at hand to answer your questions. The Lego store staff are also at hand to assist building smaller lego sets and minifigures.
On the days itself. Your little one loves a treasure hunt they can try and find the Lego Leeds Owls that are hidden around the store.
When you or your kids have found all the Owls you even receive a special Lego prize. The prize will vary each year and these scavenger hunts will generally take place through the school holidays.
There is still more fun to be had outside the store in the shopping center itself. Where the Lego store have set up a building area just outside the store.
Sign up for your free half hour slot and help your child build whatever they fancy to be put out on display for all to see in the shop window.
Younger Lego store fans can also have fun in the Lego Duplo area with plenty of Duplo bricks and animals to keep them entertained.
Lego store Staff are on hand at all times to help and inspire your next lego build and they do this with so much enthusiasm.
When you register your child to play in the Lego area they are given a wristband, which also doubles up as 10% off purchases in the store.
After having fun building his Lego creation Jake headed back to the Lego store to receive his personalised Lego certificate for doing this.
All these activities for kids which are fun and all for free. On the grand opening day itself the first 300 people to spend over £25.00 received this special Lego Leeds T-shirt. The same amount of people on the saturday were also allowed to get a shirt too.
The final word goes to my son Jake:
“I had a fantastic day today at the Lego store in Leeds, I cannot wait to show my friend Kirk everything I learnt today from the staff in the shop.I really enjoyed taking part in the hunt for the Lego store Owl’s and love my Lego Chima set I won and I am wearing my special Lego Leeds T-shirt”.

I have asked before but had no reply, I am looking for the old red basic bucket of lego bricks for someone so I can show them how to build basic things like houses, bridges etc, I would appreciate a reply as I did not get one last time,
