Michelin Living Total Performance: Real Drivers in Real Conditions

Tests on Real Drivers in Real Conditions

 Michelin Living Total Performance

I passed my driving Test eighteen years ago when I was only 18 years old. Now my son is about to turn 18 and will be starting to learn to drive soon (Feeling very nervous about this, although I am sure all parents feel the same).

I drive for necessity and not because I overly enjoy it, I am a careful yet slightly cautious driver. I like taking things easy so I get to my chosen destination safely. Rushing around and lack of concentration can cause accidents in my opinion.

A well-maintained set of tyres is vital for car safety

I have always been very vigilant about purchasing good quality tyres, I can often be found checking the tyre grip and tread depths on my tyres ,  I like to know i am doing everything in my power to keep my car safe for my family.

One good tip for drivers is to purchase all four tyres at the same time, as mixing tyres can compromise the car’s handling and grip, different brands and models of tyres will inevitably perform differently than a set from the same brand.

If this is not possible, I at least try to replace two tyres at a time, even if one has a little bit of wear left. The cost in my eyes outweighs the lack of safety poor tyres can cause. This is one piece of advice I will be passing on to my son when he purchases his first car, I just hope he listens!

Although, if you asked me to change a tyre on my own on my vehicle, I would not know where to begin. I plan to learn how to change a tyre but at the moment I reilly on my husband.

Why choose one performance when you should have them all

You need a tyre that can match the many driving challenges you face each day. A tyre that delivers Total Performance. Because a tyre that only masters one performance factor won’t always be there for you when you need it most. With MICHELIN Total Performance, all key performance factors are brought together in one tyre

I’d agree that good quality tires make a real difference to peace of mind.
