Red Nose Day 2015 is back on Friday 13th March and this year TK Maxx has partnered with five of the world’s most celebrated names in fashion to design the Red Nose Day 2015 T shirts range for Comic Relief. Fashion royalty Anya Hindmarch, Karl Lagerfeld, Diane von Furstenberg, Henry Holland and Matthew Williamson have designed an eclectic collection including seven very special T-shirts and a onesie, that are available now exclusively in TK Maxx stores and tkmaxx.com.
Each limited edition design is completely unique to each designer with a very special Red Nose Day twist featuring quirky quotes. Profits from the sale of each T-shirt are donated to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives across Africa and here in the UK.
Lily Allen and Dermot O’Leary have joined forces to front the 2015 campaign, which was shot by world renowned photographer Rankin. A whole host of celebrities including Nicole Scherzinger, Debbie Harry, David Gandy, Gemma Arterton and Tom Hiddleston have pledged their support to the campaign by wearing an exclusive Red Nose Day 2015 T shirt and wearing something funny for money in support of Red Nose Day.
Emma Freud, Director of Red Nose Day, said: “We are overjoyed to team up with TK Maxx on the Red Nose Day 2015 T shirts campaign again. This year’s T-shirts are beyond gorgeous and all from designers who are right at the top of their game – we can’t thank them enough for doing this job so beautifully and doing it for free. All the profits raised through the sale of the T-shirts goes to help vulnerable people across Africa and the UK. They are wonderful designs anyway but that makes them doubly wonderful
2015 is the sixth time TK Maxx UK has been the official Red Nose Day T-shirt retailer and the second time HomeSense is an official Red Nose Day partner. TK Maxx raises the second largest amount of money of all the Comic Relief corporate partners and since the start of the partnership has raised over £13.4 million for Comic Relief.
WHAT IS RED NOSE DAY?
Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become something of a British institution. It’s the day, every two years, when people across the land can get together and do something funny for money at home, school and work.
There’s a fantastic night of TV on the BBC, with comedy and entertainment to inspire the nation to give generously.
Comic Relief spends the money raised by Red Nose Day to help people living tough lives across the UK and Africa.
This Year for Red Nose Day we are being encouraged to make our faces funny for money. We all have a face, they are loads of ways to make it funny and raise loads of life-changing money. It is so easy to take part and you can start right now by downloading a Free Fundraising Kit.
Don’t miss out on your very own original designer Red Nose Day 2015 T shirts with prices starting at £5.99 for a kids t-shirt and £9.99 for an adult tee. Snap up your own piece of fashion history from TK Maxx stores nationwide and at TK Maxx online. With Money from each T-Shirt sold donated to Comic Relief.
Do you ‘Give a Shirt’ about Red Nose Day? We are asking the nation to show us their support by doing the @TKMaxx Shirt Spin for @rednoseday using the hashtag #RND15.
Simply upload a video of yourself spinning your RND t-shirt and challenge your friends to follow suit to prove they give a shirt too #igiveashirt.
