T-K-Maxx uk – Kit out the kids Challenge

T-K-Maxx uk - Kit out the kids Challenge

Over the School holidays I was contacted by T K Maxx to take part in the  T-K-Maxx –Kit out the kids Challenge. I love this Amazing super store, not only for fashion but for homeware too. I was so excited by this challenge, It was really easy to accept with a big “Yes”!

The T-K Maxx Kit out the kids challenge involved purchasing an outfit for both myself and my very stylish little Nephew Riley.

I had to go into store and purchasing both outfits including an outfit from T-K-Maxx uk ‘s children’s range for Riley and a swanky fashionable outfit for myself, my budget for this mission was £100.

Armed with my budget, I left the kids at home and headed off to T-K-Maxx in Leeds for a few hours of guilt free retail therapy.

I had originally thought choosing Riley  an outfit from T-K-Maxx would be the most difficult thing ever. Riley is one boy who loves his clothes and always likes to look stylish and fashionable, a little worrying at seven years old. “what if he didn’t like it? “. My mind was soon put at ease when I walked into the children’s clothing section of this fashion giants clothing department.

In fact choosing an outfit from the kids range at T-K-Maxx was a breeze, seriously! Unlike most kid’s clothing stores T-K-Maxx encourages originality by providing  some  of the best and top labeled girls and boys clothing, without breaking the bank as they are always offer up to 60% less than the RRP.

Kids can be little label kings and queens, allowing their individuality to shine through in their stylish outfits.

You just never know what you will find when you step through the doors at T-K-Maxx. I quite often head into the Leeds store aiming to purchase one item of clothing and generally  I leave with bags filled with tops, Dresses, scatter cushions, shoes and Hershey’s chocolate syrup! “I make a mean Hershey’s Milkshake!!”

Take a look at our new looks we choose for the T-K-Maxx Kit out the Kids Challenge

My outfit Choice

My shopping timing could not have been any better as the winter stock had started flowing in through the doors of my local T K Maxx store, so there was so much choice.

It did not take me long to come across plenty of stylish jumpers, I could have come away with a completely new wardrobe. I managed to narrow it down to two, both in my favourite colour grey but in different shades. I choose one super soft comfortable knitted jumper and a fashionable crop style thin knit sweater with crocheted style detailing on the back. I even had enough in the budget for a pair of super soft skinny fit jeans.

Riley’s outfit from the kids department

Riley had given me the precise details of what type of outfit he wanted me to find for him, I must admit I was a little worried I would disappoint, I need not have panicked as I straight away found a pair of black skinny jeans in aged 7-8 years better still they were even in the sale.

I found a perfect slim fit collared t-shirt  in bright Orange with a contrasting purple collar. My favourite piece of the outfit came when I found an American style jersey, something I know he had been wanting for a long time.

I could not believe how keen Riley was for wearing his new outfit and having his photograph taken, It ended up turning into a mini photo-shoot; he would have gone on posing for the camera all day!

T-K-Maxx provided us with a £100 Gift card to buy both our outfits for this challenge

Our local TK Maxx have regular clearance sales. I especially love their homeware section as I’m a fan of retro American stuff and they always have plenty of that.
