Xscape Castleford Lazer Quest & Bowlplex Review

We have been lucky enough to try out some of the amazing facilities during one of our Family Days Out that Xscape has to offer. Today I am going to be writing about Lazerzone & Bowplex.

Most parents will remember the massive boom in Lazer type shooting facilities in the UK around 20 years ago. We used to have so many in different area’s of Leeds and then they all fizzled out. You start your Lazerzone experience with a 5 minutes preparation talk informing you of how to use the Lazer guns and health and safety information, like don’t run inside the arena. Once this talk is over you find yourself heading into a small room where you get your Lazer packs on and your ready to go

It’s a great way to spend some time with your family running around with adrenaline pumping in a multi levelled arena zapping the opposition. Unfortunately, my own team mates were not very impressed with me, as I am terrible.

Whilst running around the Lazer zone you can even pop into the zappit zone and have your picture taken mid battle, which you can purchase after your match taking either a photo, keyring,or magnet away with you for just £2.99.

Xscapes Lazerzone also do fantastic Birthday parties, book a gold package weekdays. for an extra game of laser tag for free.

We had plenty of family fun, although I did come away tail between legs firmly placed at the bottom of the bowling leaderboard again. The mark of a great day out with your family is that they all smile at the end of the day. Castleford Xscape is one of those Fantastic Family Days Out that you know you could go on again and again.
