Sheer Cover Studio: Trueshade Technology
INTRODUCTORY VIP KIT
As a daily foundation wearer, I was intrigued to try out the new Sheer Cover mineral makeup, to see if it really lived up to the hype I have heard.
The new Sheer Cover Studio is leading the way in mineral makeup with Trueshade Technology, developed to automatically adjust to match every skin tone without the need to blend in.
A favorite with professional makeup artists and UK celebrities, Sheer Cover studio is perfect for any skin type, with 100% natural minerals that work with the skin’s own natural oils. Flaws and blemishes are easily concealed whilst allowing your own natural beauty to shine through.
Originally developed to help people conceal skin issues such as redness, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, age spots, uneven skin tone, Melasma, acne, Rosacea, birthmarks and spider veins.

Plus the Sheer Cover Studio™ Guide to Flawless-Looking Skin
What is Trueshade Technology?
Trueshade Technology is unique to Sheer Cover Studio, It works with the skin to create the perfect colour match; light reflecting minerals in the formula contain special optical filters that pick up your own skin tone and reflect it to ensure a perfect colour finish.
The soft-focus minerals contained in Sheer Cover Studio ‘float’ in the skin and diffuse the light deflecting it away from flaws and blurring out imperfections to deliver a smooth, luminous, airbrushed glow.
My Thoughts on Sheer Cover Trueshade Technology
I absolutely loved that within the ultimate Makeup system you got to sample a little bit of everything in the range. Before I tried any of the products I took five minutes to read through the very self-explanatory guide included.
This is very important as you apply the products in this system slightly different to your normal Makeup.
How do I use Sheer Cover step by step guide
Step 1 – Conceal
After applying my own moisturiser, I mixed together the two shades of concealer to find my perfect match. I used my finger to gently dab the concealer under my eyes and on a few blemishes and small scars
Step 2 – Brighten
I have been using the concealer brush this time to apply the brightener, something I would normally do after applying my Makeup, this is why I am glad I looked at the guide. I applied the concealer to the top of my cheekbones, the bow of my lips and slightly under my brow -bones and in the corner of my eyes – blending well.
Step 3 – Applying the Perfect shade Mineral foundation
I tapped a small amount of the Mineral foundation into the lid of the pot, dipped the foundation brush into the lid and tapped off the excess powder, applying in circular motions. Working from the outer edge of my face inwards. I applied a further coat as I wanted a little bit more coverage. I was sent the ‘Light’ colour shade to test, I would probably go with a Medium for my skin tone or buy both Light and Medium to mix together to make the perfect shade.
Step 4 – Illuminate
I applied the sun-kissed Bronzing Minerals by lightly dusting on the areas of my face that need highlighting until I achieved my desired colour.
Step 5 – Lengthen
I applied 2 coats of the Lengthening Mascara to my lashes to create the base for the Lash Extending Fibers. I then applied a layer of the Lash Extending Fibers as quickly as I could before the Mascara had time to set. I then finished with another coat of the Mascara to ensure the fibers stuck to the lashes.
I was very shocked at how fresh my face felt whilst wearing the Sheer Cover Introductory VIP Kit, I would highly recommend this as a great starter set to try a little bit of everything, whilst still being generous sizes.

This really brings back memories for me. I had sheer cover 6 or 7 years ago. I think it may have just started and mineral powder wasn’t as well known. I remember thinking it was good value for money and I was impressed with the simplicity and final effect. Far more natural than foundation and very long wearing. I can’t remember now why I stopped using it, I think I ended up with too much of it as they keep on sending it. It is good though.

Your face looks like it has a nice glow to it after using the product. It’s interesting how light reflects off of the minerals to create an even, color-matching effect.
