Bars & Melody “Hopeful” Anti Bullying at it’s best!
“I Wish I had an angel to stay by my side”
Some things in life really touch you! It is something that makes almost every parent, adult, child and teenager relate to one another. This is mainly through experience in one way or another, and from one extreme to another. Well the following pair, who were discovered on Britain’s got talent and they have certainly touched me with their amazing song!
Who are Bars & Melody?
Bars & Melody or (B.A.M) are two young boys who although not from deprived backgrounds seriously have created a song that really tackles Bullying head on. They are cute, talented and extremely humble at least from what I have seen. Not only that but the song has some really meaningful and touching lyrics and when you listen to them, you know the lyrics are through experience, which is a shame and quite upsetting.
Youtube Bars & Melody’s first appearance on Britain’s got talent!
Rapper Leondre Devries (13 years old) Bars & Singer Charlie Lenehan (15 years old) Melody have written the song Hopeful. The single Hopeful released today on the 27th July 2014 and its amazing. I urge every person who wants to stamp out bullying to go out buy or download the song to support the duo.
Let’s show our support!
Bars & Melody are ambassadors for Princess Diana’s trust and to be honest when you listen to this single I can see why.
Why I had Tears listening to “Hopeful”
I honestly had tears in my eye’s listening to such wonderful lyrics, they really make you think about what children go through every day in schools and not just when they are there , but before and after.
Listening to the lyrics of the song whilst doing my ironing, I had tears just pouring across my cheeks. Things this boy felt and experienced through bullies was sickening. I am so pleased he has been able to turn his life full circle and show the bullies just how far he has come.
Bars & Melody’s Officially released Song
Bars & Melody deserve every bit of success and I for one will be supporting the boys as often as I can to continue to raise awareness for anti-bullying. I don’t want anyone, not one person to be the victim of bullying in any shape or form.A song that connects with young people like ‘Hopeful’ is a massive step forward to ensuring that schools and parents stamp out Bullying for good.
Let’s stop Bullying
Kids should never be bullied, this affects their entire lives in some cases and for a 13 & 15 year old to have experienced this is so upsetting, but the good that will now come and after listening to it several times actually keeps me “Hopeful” that in future we can stamp out bullying.
