Earth to Echo is one of the must see family movies that is out to buy on DVD, Blu Ray and Digital download from the 17th November. is a modern story of fun and friendship following three kids on an exhilarating journey who take matters into their own hands. A perfect family movie and a great gift for Christmas
My son’s and husband are massive movie fans, enjoying films from the classic 80’s movies like Back to the Future to the hot new releases. They also have their own ‘Movie club’ which involves lots of blankets, popcorn and sweets (They even have an initiation, but I keep failing that). When Earth to Echo arrived this was a perfect choice for their next movie night in. My eldest son who is 17 had already seen Earth to Echo at the cinema and could not stop raving on about it, which surprised me given his age. I did think to myself the film was for a younger audience, but he proved me wrong because I knew if he thought the film was good then it must be pretty amazing.
Watching Earth to Echo
Once we were all snuggled up with our goodies we started to watch the film, I was invited to watch even though I am not an official ‘Movie Club Member’. Earth to Echo far exceeded my expectations, this was a warm hearted movie (reminded me a little of ET) with modern characters that my children could relate to. We loved learning all about the characters and watching them on their adventures throughout the entire movie. It really was a film about family and the importance of friendships, a good lesson for kids to learn!
To avoid spoiling the film for you I will not give too much more away, I just recommend this to any family with children of any age. So grab the movie popcorn and a copy of Earth to Echo on DVD or Blu Ray and watch one of the best films you will see in 2014. I truly believe this film is going to become a classic.
