Over the summer holidays, I was Invited by McDonald’s for a family fun day at Roundhay Park in Leeds as part of their summer #hellogoodtimes campaign.
The sun was out and it was the perfect day to get my teens off their computers and outside for some fresh air and family fun.
I met my sister along with my niece and nephews at Roundhay park to get involved in the fun-packed day run by an expert team, with everything from games, ball pits, and giveaways to air guitar and face painting.
Our first stop was at the pop-up stage and my niece and nephews all enjoyed busting some moves like little superstars!
The kids young and old all loved having a go at finding a special prize ball hidden in a ball pool, they were not lucky enough to find one of the lucky balls, so they all joined forces and persuaded me to have a turn and it was five against one so I stood no chance of saying no!
It was a much harder task than it looked but still lots of fun as you can see from this picture
All the kids spotted the McDonald’s Ice cream truck where you could get a free Mcflurry and every one of us devoured our ice creams, even my little two-year-old nephew!
As a souvenir of the day, we all had our photo taken with some fun inflatable props and got to take a copy home and also had a fun moving photo emailed to me for when I got home.
Activities are taking place across the country over the summer holidays to help keep your kids entertained and you can find out further details here
These fun, family days are open to all and taking place as part of the wider summer of good times campaign, which involves celebrating all of the good times you can have with friends and family and has seen the likes of Tinie Tempah putting on a one-off performance INSIDE a McDonald’s!
