So, the week has passed and all is right with the world. As I write I am internally ranting about the pain my muscles are currently experiencing due to my larger levels of exercise throughout the past week. However, all in all, I’m feeling better both physically and mentally, being overall less fatigued, maybe due to my most likely doubled intake of non-fizzy drinks. I will say the ‘Robinsons Squash’d’ have been helping with my water intake issue, as the one thing I dislike about water is its lack of flavour but I know I need it for hydration.
I have been taking these nifty little bottles to school where I’d pop open the cap on the Robinsons Squash’d and let loose the rain of flavour – Such as summer Fruits, which unexpectedly became my favourite of the bunch when my mental predictions had calculated Apple and Blackcurrant would reign supreme, helping with my hydration.
Now as I’ve restarted my old love for swimming, having a reason to drive me towards pushing a few metres and done double time at the local gym. Furthermore, on Friday I took a nice hour-long walk around the local woodlands and park area with my father, who had come to see me for the day. The natural serenity and grace of the woodland is and has always been one of my favourite things in the world, seeing life co-exist to create the fruits of nature.
In general, I’ve been making full use of the public space around me to exercise and I can honestly say that the Robinsons Squash’d has been there on each occasion. As mentioned in the first post, to do something I need a reason, and a target and my drive for drinking is for basic survival and to refresh myself with a drink that I enjoy Robisons Squash’d has been helping with my water intake. Over the past week, I feel healthier, more active and driven.
This has been Jake and this past week’s been one heck of a ride.
