I am trying so hard to bring my child up with fantastic values for looking after the planet and being eco-friendly. I take time to teach her awareness about endangered species in the wild and to teach her why we don’t litter and as she gets older we will learn more about why we need to take care of our planet.
When I was approached by Mountain Warehouse to review some children’s clothing from their organic clothing range that got me thinking about how even changing the clothes we wear can be kinder to the planet.
Mountain Warehouse Organic Clothing
This April Mountain Warehouse launched their new organic collection of clothes ready for spring/summer 2021 closely followed by an amazing recycled collection this month.
All of the products in this collection are made with organic fabric. Supporting Organic Cotton helps keep waterways and soil clear of harmful chemicals, as well as protecting the welfare of workers. Apparel including Organic Cotton is grown with less water, free from genetically modified seeds, and doesn’t include toxic pesticides, so kinder to the environment and our little ones’ skin.
I must admit I did have a little bit of a preconception that Organic meant boring off white t-shirts not fashionable items that children would actually like to wear….boy was I wrong!
Kids Organic Slogan Sweatshirt
This sweatshirt is super cute and unbelievably soft against my daughter’s skin. She loved wearing this sweatshirt as you can see and we used the slogan to talk about why we love our plant and learned some great facts about the beautiful world we live in.
Cut from 280gsm brushed cotton It’s a super soft fabric that helps to reduce water consumption and CO2 emissions too. This was worn at nursery and we all know how messy kids get there and washed and it still feels so soft, no fading, and looks as good as new. We are now massive fans of organic fabric
Rainbow Kids Organic Cotton T-Shirt
What little girl wouldn’t love this bright, vibrant Rainbow T-shirt? My little girl felt a million dollars in this organic t-shirt. It’s super lightweight making it comfortable to wear whilst been made from 100% cotton leaving a smaller footprint on the planet.
I sized up and got the perfect fit for my little one and again it’s washed like a dream and at £9.99 with no hassle returns, such an amazing bargain.
Bay Junior Mountain Warehouse Shandals
With summer ahead and hopefully days out at the beach these Shandals are the perfect footwear for the summer months. These are functional, all about comfort whilst been pretty still.
