There’s nothing worse than when your little one has cradle cap. You try your hardest not to pick at it but the struggle is real! Sienna is getting to the stage where she is getting the odd bit of cradle cap that just won’t budge. What shampoo do you use? Moisturiser doesn’t have any effect so I was going a bit insane. That’s until I came across Dentinox.
The importance of kindness with Dentinox
Dentinox is a company who put your little ones at the centre of their world and want the best for your baby. They’re a brand who create simple and effective baby medicines and medical devices for comforting relief. Think colic and teething? They’re the superheroes to calm those deafening screams.
Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo
I needed a shampoo that was baby-friendly but also solved the problem of cradle cap. The product aims to gently cleanse the scalp. It is advised that you use it from birth so it helps to keep your baby’s scalp and hair clean and healthy. Of course, how to use the product is pretty self-explanatory. All you need to do is wet your baby’s head with warm water, massage 1/2 teaspoon of shampoo over the whole scalp and rinse and repeat every bath time!
The shampoo contains active ingredients of sodium lauryl ether sulfosuccinate and sodium lauryl ether sulphate (what a mouthful) which belong to a group of medicines called cleansing surfactants. This means that the scalp is fully cleansed and also treated at the same time.
New Mums
Being a new mum can be hard work and over half of us expect people to show kindness with one in ten revealing it’s the most important personality trait. However, over half of new mums have been shoved or ignored and even received negative comments in public.
Psychologist Corinne Sweet comments on the findings, “New mums are full of hormones. Along with conflicting advice and lack of sleep, so they need some TLC to help themselves look after their baby. Emotionally and psychologically speaking, it is important to be thoughtful and helpful around a new mum. They might feel anxious and isolated while adjusting to the constant demand, even if this isn’t their first-born. So, a little kindness goes a long way, while they learn or relearn a whole array of new mothering skills.”
Dentinox understands the importance of kindness, which is why its range of simple and effective baby medicines provide comforting relief when it comes to treating colic, cradle cap and teething, helping to put parents’ minds at ease.
Speaking from a personal level, kindness can speak volumes over the tiniest of things! In my case, it’s going for a wee in peace or being able to have a soak in the bath while Sienna is properly asleep and being looked after. It truly is bliss!
Dentinox is available in most major pharmacies and supermarkets
