Top 7 Amazing Destinations to Visit in June

January 21, 2020 | Leave a Comment

Traveling to different countries is always a memorable experience, especially when done with the entire family. However, it can be difficult to choose places suitable for the whole family which is why we have listed down 6 of the top destinations to visit this June.

Uganda

When parents are planning for the family holidays, Uganda typically doesn’t come into mind first. For families who want to try the unusual, Uganda is the most unique place to be in. Western Uganda is the heart of the nation’s natural and wildlife attractions. You and your family can take pleasure in its breath-taking landscapes while enjoying several outdoor activities too. If your kids are old enough to hike, chimpanzee and mountain gorilla trekking are two good options. Moreover, children and adults can spend their time spotting birds and seeing monkeys in the Budongo Forest Reserve.

Spain

Barcelona Spain is a city that is very rich in culture. You will undoubtedly have a memorable experience with your family here. You can ride a taxi from Barcelona Airport to the city which will take about a minimum of 20 minutes. Generally speaking, Barcelona is safe with some wonderful places to stay in such as:

 The barrio situated near the beach which is Barceloneta
 A very beautiful place in the city which is Gracia
 An area rich in history which is the Gothic Quarter
The following are activities you can enjoy in the city:
 Visit the Musea de la Xocolata- a chocolate museum in Barcelona.
 Let your children play in the Parc de la Ciutadella- a park with museums and zoos located at the heart of the city.
 Ride a Ferris wheel in the Tibidabo amusement park.

Galapagos Islands

Enjoy your family holiday while meeting and learning about a few rare animals in the Galapagos Islands. Here are some breathtaking activities you can experience with your family in these Islands:

 Befriend sea lions while swimming alongside them in Isla Lobos- the place where you can find one of the largest colonies of sea lions.
 Explore every island in small boats.
 Allow yourself to be surrounded by endemic birds such as the blue-footed boobies.
 Take photos of wonderful sites such as the two peaks of volcanoes, while you are on the Cerro Tijeras.

Bhutan

Prepare yourself with a bit of heat while hiking, try to taste some of Bhutan’s strange food, or enjoy a luxury holiday in Bhutan. You can do all of these, or you can choose what best suits your ideal vacation.
Here are some of the tourist attractions in Bhutan that are family-friendly:

 Have a taste of history in Thimphu Paro where some impressive museums are located.
 Witness the innovations of Zorig Chusum- a famous school known for its creativity. Blow your minds off as you see their unique paintings, statues, embroideries, and woodcarvings.
 See for your own eyes Bhutan’s national trees, flowers, birds, and animals, all in Jigme Dorgi National Park.

New Zealand

Look forward to breath-taking sceneries while you and your family spend your vacation in New Zealand. Here are some fun and exciting activities you can do during your stay:

 Stargazing after the sun sets in the Dark Sky Reserve located at the Southern Island a perfect place to go in July and August, as well as June.
 Enjoy a relaxing conversation with your family in New Zealand’s “natural hot pools” such as the Waiotapu Stream or the Kerosene Creek.
 Visit a number of their museums especially Te Papa which is known as New Zealand’s museum located in Wellington.

Italy

The penultimate amazing destination to visit in June is the world’s favorite vacation spot, Italy. Weather in June is around 82.4 Fahrenheit, warm enough to enjoy and be out all day but it gets much hotter in July and August. If you’re exploring one of Italy’s beautiful cities, it’s worth investing in a guided walking tour, followed by a nice coffee and a bowl of fresh pasta. If you’re on an Italian inspired family vacation, then somewhere like Tuscany can have something for everyone. For an immersive experience consider exploring the picturesque landscapes and charming villages with guided Tuscany tours. Getting a villa means the kids have lots of space to run around and you can relax with a nice glass of Chianti.

Japan

Japan is known to be the “safest large country”, so you don’t have to worry about your safety while you are on vacation with your family. Whether you’re traveling to Japan in June or over December, there is something amazing to do. Here are some activities that are family-friendly in Japan:

 Visit their aquariums that are known to be world-class.
 Enjoy a walk with your family in the bamboo forest of Kyoto.
 Ride the shinkansen or the famous bullet train.
 Tag your family along to do skiing and snowboarding in the Japanese Alps, Tohoku area, or Hokkaido.

Nothing beats the experience gained from traveling to other countries and immersing yourself in their unique culture. While traveling can be done alone, it’s more fun and memorable when the entire family tags along.
