If you are anything like me, you love to snuggle up with your partner and sit gazing lovingly into their eyes. Yeah right, sometimes there’s more chance of plaiting fog than that ever happening with our busy lifestyles these days! This doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy doing all the Lovey Dovey things, so this year I have come up with a great idea and I have put together two different ideas for a Couples Love Baskets.
This Valentine’s day idea came to me whilst shopping for a few cute things for V-Day for my husband, but I thought why don’t I make a whole basket which includes a few treats for both of us too.
Although all of the products in my couples’ love basket were lovingly selected from Asda/Walmart, you could make this basket up from any store.
The best thing about making this wonderful valentines day gift idea is that I used a basket which we had already in our home and re-used it. If you are planning on making one of these as a gift I would get rummaging around your home too so you save yourself a bit of cash. This cost me in total £13.50 which is brilliant and makes my valentine’s day less expensive.
Couples Love Basket Contents, all purchased from ASDA/WALMART.
- Chocolate Rose £1.00
- Made with Love Decorate Your Own Heart £1.50
- Chosen by you Chocolate Brownies £2.00
- Chosen by you Valentine’s Day I Love You Crumpets £1.00
- Love Hearts Handwarmers £4.00
- Love Hearts Cookie Stamps £4.00
This basket which I call the ‘Cuddle basket’ is filled with an array of Valentine’s goodies to make you all snuggly inside. Include your partner’s favourite treats from their favourite bottle of wine, soft & snuggly pj’s, snuggle socks, sexy lingerie, perfume, bath bombs, Romantic DVDs, a box of chocolates, Valentines mugs, a cuddly toy, the list is endless.
Spend as little as your budget allows, so whether you splurge or save this valentines day your special loved one will really appreciate the thought that has gone into making such a romantic and thoughtful Valentine’s gift.
Aww i love this! the goodies inside the basket looks yummy
