I would love to introduce you to our new special friend that arrived today, let me introduce Care Bears Birthday Bear. This bundle of vanilla frosting scented joy is all about Birthdays, he celebrates all the other Care Bears Birthdays so we decided it was time to celebrate his with a surprise Birthday party!
The birthday bears recipe for the perfect birthday bash is 1/3 food, 1/3 fun, and 1/3 friends. We have the friends sorted as my little girl and Birthday Bear have become inseparable so just the food and fun to sort…..remember its a surprise
Baking With Birthday Bear
With the help of Sienna and Birthday Bear, our home was turned into a bakery for the afternoon. We created all sorts of yummy cakes and treats from homemade custard cream cheesecake, old school sponge with care bear approved sprinkles and some even had vanilla frosting just like Birthday Bear. All ready for our Teddy Bears Birthday picnic later that day, once the bears have had the chance to dress for the occasion.

Birthday Bear always finds a reason to treat every day like one big celebration. After all, every day is someone’s birthday. Today is our turn to whip out the streamers, blow up the balloons and show Birthday Bear the perfect day and that we care.
So on the guest list is, of course, the main man himself Birthday Care Bear along with his friends Princess bear, Easter Minnie, and Elsa Bear all ready to surprise the main man (bear).
We all had turning a normal day into an extra special bear day. Teaching Sienna the value of sharing and friendships and a little cake and fun too!
I grew up playing with my care bears in the 1980s but this is my little girl’s first-ever Care Bear and in fact, Birthday Bear is a brand new character so very exciting for both of us. Birthday Bear comes with a special care coin for collecting and sharing. It’s perfect to give to a friend to show them how much you care or keep it as a reminder to yourself to always be kind and caring.
We think our Birthday Bear will need a friend very soon and are struggling on which to add to our collection next, maybe Cheers Bear, Good Luck Bear, Funshine Bear, Wish a lot Bear I could go on and on with all my favorites as they all make me reminisce being a child playing with my collection. It’s lovely to see them live on and a whole new generation loving them just as much too.
