The Snowman and The SnowDog Finger Puppet Book

November 26, 2014 | 6 Comments

We are walking in the air! Oh I remember the first time I watched the The Snowman back in 1982 when it was first shown on Christmas day. Raymond Briggs classic tale has an incredible sequel The Snowman and The Snowdog which is scheduled to be aired over Christmas in 2014.

Every year The Snowman has been delightfully gracing our televisions with a short but wonderful story, no words, just enthralling animation and the wonder song written by Howard Blake ‘walking in the air’.

Now 12 Bloggers including myself have been asked to take part in The 12 Days of Christmas The Snowman and The Snowdog blog tour. This is to celebrate the festive new gifts from The Snowman and The Snowdog range, each blogger is to give their thoughts on a specific product from the range.

We have been kindly sent The Snowman and The Snowdog finger puppet book for our opinion. This 6 Page book is simply great for your preschoolers allowing them to play the role of the Snowdog throughout the story. The Snowdog finger puppet is designed exceptionally well it also has engaging colours for the dogs ears and will fit perfect on tiny fingers. Each page is made is made sturdy so the pages do not bend when your child is reading and interacting along with the finger puppet. Each scene in comes to life beautifully and the finger puppet giving it a very animated feel. This book is only suitable for ages 3 and upward, but if you are reading to younger children a parents finger should also fit inside of the finger puppet too.
