Calling all Parents! This week we have been showing you how to spice up boring Sandwiches, hopefully to give you a little encouragement to create your own unique fillers. Today’s Recipe is a Cheesy Pesto Rocket Crusty Bread sandwich which only takes 10 minutes to prepare and I personally think you will love.

This sandwich is so easy to make and will have your taste buds crying out for more. The recipe is vegetarian friendly so everyone can eat this Sandwich worry free. I can also tell you that because the filling came encompassed in crusty bread the boys found it truly filling, which is a first may I add!

Cheesy Pesto Ingredients

If you would like to know how to make this hearty Cheesy Pesto Rocket Crusty Bread Sandwich then simply follow my instructions below.

First up, it’s the ingredients. Everything you need to recreate this recipe is listed below.

  • Crusty Bread or Baguette
  • Pesto Sauce
  • Rocket
  • Leerdammer Light
  • Mint
  • Walnuts
  • Fruit Chutney

Instructions

  1. Fill the Crusty bread or baguette with Rocket leaves.
  2. Add 2 slices of Leerdammer Light.
  3. spread a light layer of Pesto sauce to the cheese.
  4. Add a generous tablespoon of fruit chutney.
  5. Finish with a few fresh mint leaves and Walnuts (optional)
